This time we did it right! We're back!

Today, I decided to begin some Disney projects.

For a long time now, I have had an idea in my head, but hadn't carried it out yet.

I wanted to buy a sketchbook and decorate it, then have everyone write in it every day of the trip. We will all write about our favorite moment of the day and then draw a picture of that moment. I am a HORRIBLE artist, so my drawings won't be pretty, but they'll be there!

Today, I had to go to WalMart, so I bought said sketchbook, then came home and decorated it!

The reason it says "Julie" twice on the cover is not because I think I'm doubly important...it's because Beth's mother in law's name is Julie also.

Also, DH and I went to our friends' house to watch the Bears game today. I am not so into football until it gets later in the season. So while the guys watched the game, my girlfriend and I went to the craft store to get materials for my Halloween costume! (Mrs. White from Clue) My girlfriend has a sewing machine and knows how to use it! We (she) made and apron. It's perfect! It looks exactly how I envisioned it.

Wednesday, I will go back over to her house and we will work on my maid hat. I will post pics after we get that part done.

I am totally laughing also...I will also look around very closely myself from now on.

I must be really inspired lately. (Or really bored!)

I started making some little bags for my trip mates.

In the envelopes, I intend to put the MNSSHP tickets. The other thing in the bag is a poncho.

Does anyone have ideas of other things to put in the bags?

Also, I told myself I wouldn't start a countdown till 45 days, so last night I made a countdown!

That's right! I'm down to
45 DAYS!!!!!!

I talked to my mom yesterday and she said that DH received some Disney mail at her house yesterday.

For the life of me, I can not understand why
1. DH receives the Disney mail (I've changed it to my name a hundred times)
2. The mail goes to my mom's house (I've changed the address a thousand times). (Well, maybe not a thousand, but every time I call to change ADRs!)

Anyways, the mail was the thing they send that has suggestions of what to do on your trip and basically just proves that the trip is getting closer. I guess I'll just have to wait till next weekend to see it. I'm flying home to Chicago next weekend to throw a bridal shower for my brother's fiance. So I guess I'll get it then!

Also, one time I called, they had my first time visiting Disney as 1971. I started laughing hysterically. The lady on the other end was, understandably, confused. I explained to her that I wasn't born until 1972. And since the trip I was currently planning was my mother's first time going, I did not go in utero!!

Have a great time in Chicago next weekend. The weather has been nuts here. Yesterday we had a high of 67. It was about 45 overnight. Today, it's supposed to get up to 78. I think we are officially heading into fall!!

67 and 78 degrees sounds like HEAVEN to me right now! We were at 108 degrees yesterday and I think today is supposed to be 105. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so here's a pic of my costume (Mrs. White from the Clue boardgame). Unfortunately, DH went to bed already, so I can't get a picture of me in it. (I am too tired to bother with the timer thing!)

The parts that my friend and I made are the apron, the headband thingy, and the little collar/tie thing.

It looks much better when it's actually on me. I'll post a pic of that sometime over the weekend.

Oh, I just noticed that my toes are at the bottom of the pic. I'm sorry you have to look at that!
