I'm having my gallbladder out tomorrow. :( After having the c-section this should be a walk in the park, but I've just now started feeling slightly normal again and really don't want to have to go through a recoup again. Oh well. Think good thoughts for me that I have no complications!

Don't need that old thing anyway! :)

And you gotta plan this stuff better so that you get time off from work! ;)

Best of luck to you! Here's hoping you will be feeling great soon!

:( Hoping and praying all goes well and you have a speedy and relatively painfree recovery!!

Take good care!

{{{HUGS}}} Sonya, everyone I know who has had the surgery has said it is relatively EASY and it's a quick recovery, so I hope it's the same for you!

Please keep us posted!

Sonya,

Best of luck with your surgery. Having the Gall Bladder out is actually fairly common a couple of months after having a baby! I even asked my midwife about it when I had DS#1, as I'd had several friends go through it! She said don't worry, if it happens, it's an easy fix.

Been there, done that. 6yodd wrecked my gallbladder. It actually wasn't that bad for me. Good Luck!

Best wishes and a prayer for you, Sonya. Let us know when you can how it went, or have Seth give us a line.

Best of luck with everything. And, if you don't need the pain medication they give you, by all means, send it on to me :teeth:

Sonja....you'll be fine!! I had my gall bladder removed 2 weeks after my 3rd baby. Are you having it removed laparoscopically? Just take it easy for the first few days, rest when you can and you'll feel back to normal within a week or two...if that.

Trust me....if you were having gall bladder attacks....the surgery is a walk in the park!!! You'll be in my thoughts tomorrow!

Sending prayers and pixie dust that everything goes well and you have a speedy recovery.

Sonya -

Good luck with the surgery, wishing you a speedy recovery.

GOOD LUCK with your surgery!! :D :D

I also ended up having problems with my gallblader during my 2nd pregnancy, but here in the UK we have to wait a little longer to get non life threatening medical conditions taken care of. So I had to wait over a year after my DD was born to have the surgery. Having suffered several really bad gallblader attacks I was ready to run into the operating theatre!! :D :D

I came home from the hospital the day after surgery and I was up and running after about a week

Oh what a bummer to go throught that now. Best of luck to you, Sonya!

best of luck and hope the recoup is fast. Take it is, easier said than done . Let us know how everything goes.
