This time tomorrow I'll be minus one body part

Sonya, thinking very good thoughts and sending tons of PD your way. I wish you all the best and an easy recoup from the surgery.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I had mine out several years ago and it was a breeze compared to what I had been going thru.

I found out I had gallstones the hard way after my 2nd ds. I passed one. Wow talk about hurt, I couldnt wait to get my gallbladder removed. I had laproscopic surgery also. It is a little painful after surgery but nothing that some good pain meds wont help out. Also this surgery is one that tend to make people very sick to their stomachs so ask for some meds before the surgery to help with that.
Good Luck!

Good thoughts on the way, Sonya....*HUGS*

I had my gallbladder removed laparoscopically just under a year ago. No problemo. In and out of the hospital the same day. Back to work in just shy of a week. I still walked a little hunched-over for a few weeks, just because the healing area was a bit tight, but it eventually relaxed and I was back to normal. What a thrill it still is to be able to eat anything I want and not have to worry about an attack!

Best of luck to you. Don't worry too much. You'll be just fine and all the better for it.:D

I just had my gallbladder out in late February. They were able to do it laproscopically(SP???). I was terrified, but it was a breeze. I arrived at the hospital around 6am and was home by 4pm the same day! It actually only took me a few days to feel better, but I milked the situation for an entire week off!!!!!!;)
You will do fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

Poor Sonya:( I hope you feel better soon!!!!
