This Thursday-Would you go?

So I have the opportunity to DL THIS Thursday! We would go from the Ontario airport to DL at about 10:30 and leave DL to go to Palm Springs around 7 p.m.! Think that is enough time? How do you think the crowds might be? Is leaving DL at 7 p.m. going towards PS going to miss traffic? Or should we stay later ? Would you go?

I don't know about traffic, but any day is a good day for disney!!

I would go , but DL closes at 8pm. Why not stay until closing? You'll have even less traffic and get to PS in about 1.5 hours. Crowds shouldn't be too bad, and I think the rain is supposed to hold off until at least Friday. Have fun.

We were thinking if we walked out of the park at 7, might be better to catch the tram to the parking garage--less people then right at 8!

Why not? I don't think there is anything special going on at DL that day you should be able to do quite a bit

I've tried that. You save about 6 minutes. Not worth it (to me) to lose that extra hour of fun. And as others have said, leaving that area at 7:30PM you will hit more traffic than leaving that area at 8:30/8:45. Seems silly (to me) to leave Disneyland an hour early to save a few minutes on the tram and face more traffic. I say, take your time leaving Disneyland, don't even thonk about getting on the road until after 9PM and the 90 minuted drive to PS might actually take close to 90 minutes instead of 2 hours.
