In the old days, they used to run two boats, one clockwise and one counterclockwise, and you just got on the one going to your stop next. If they have gone back to that, great, but I believe it’s just one boat right now and they sometimes change it up as far as direction, so maybe plan to be at the dock by 7:00 so you have an extra 15 minute cushion. That way, if you just miss a boat and the next one comes at 7:20, you have enough time if they are stopping at WL on the way. We used to get on the boat and just ride around and around, and it seems like each leg was about 20 minutes (about ten for the drive and about ten for the load/unload). The time at the dock will vary depending on how many passengers there are.
So you could get lucky, catch a boat at 7:00, have a direct run to FW and be dropped off at the Settlement at 7:20-ish. Or you could miss a boat, board the next one at 7:20-ish, go to WL, leave WL at 7:40-ish and get dropped at the Settlement just before 8:00. I would check with someone at CR earlier in the day to see if they can give you any info on which way the boat will be traveling at the time you plan to go. You might also ask about how to get there if it’s storming, depending on when you are visiting, since the boats won’t run if there’s lightning in the vicinity.
