Hey all my Disney foodies!
So I'm headed to Disney World next week and the huge bummer for me is that I'll be pregnant so no rides (I'm too dizzy to ride even the ones that are ok to ride) and I can't drink. Since this was gonna be my first trip back as an adult I'm super bummed by that last part. But, I've told myself I'm going to have the best time trying all the foods I can instead. I've been making lists of the best snacks in Epcot and MK, but I'd love to hear what you think are the best not-to-be-missed, gotta-try things to eat at those two parks.
Thanks so much!

The Cheshire cat tale is a nice sweet treat from magic kingdom. Consider a waffle from Sleepy Hallow, but be aware... the spicy chicken really is, and I know some mommas have a hard enough time with reflux.

Since the festival of the arts is going on, you'll have a huge array of snacks to choose from at EPCOT so check out some snack reviews on many of the disney food blog websites

I don’t eat a lot of snacks, but I always get school bread (Norway), caramels (Germany), popcorn, lots of festival foods, and pastries (France).

Oooo good call about the spicy chicken, I hadn't even thought of that. We'll see what's going on with reflux next week.

I hadn't seen the Cheshire cat tale before, thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the suggestions! I regret I have but one stomach to give to the pastries in France. Which ones do you recommend?

We love the...

Dole Whip in MK. (I like the float that is the soft serve + pineapple juice.)
School Bread in Norway at Epcot.
Cronut at Taste Track in Epcot.
Fish and Chips in UK in Epcot.

Ditto the comments about International Festival of the Arts in Epcot! A perfect time to be enjoying snacking around the world! Definitely look up reviews on blogs before you go as there are so many options.

Maybe also download the “WDW Food&Wine” App. It can help you keep track of your wishlist for the festival.

Personally we are most excited to try out the France booth (Brie cheese in a bread bowl!!) and the Deconstructed Palate Booth.

Also, when checking out the reviews for IFOTA look at the drinks. I know a handful of them can be ordered both with and without alcohol, so you can still get some fun mocktails. :)

Enjoy your trip!

Ooooooo! Mocktails! I like the way you think! :cool1:
And that app is amazing!! Thank you so much for telling me about it!

Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels and FRESH, WARM caramel corn from Karamel Kuche in Germany  I brought Tupperware the last trip to bring some home, and ziplock bags for the popcorn :teeth:
I really liked the cloud horn(? I think that’s the name) from Norway. It’s filled with cream and berries and it was GOOD.
The chocolate brioche from France is a must.
I agree with the Cheshire Cat Tail in MK, it was surprisegly good. I haven’t tried it yet but the new Castle Cupcake looks pretty darn tasty from MK. Orange flavored with champagne frosting. I trust Disney food Blog with my dining life, sooooo I tend to get what AJ says :P Oooo and the orange dole whip swirl thing was mighty tasty. I think I read they brought back the original one.

Thanks for the blog rec! I'll comb it to see what AJ tells me, too, lol!!!!

Anything in France, chocolate covered pineapple, dole whip float (my fave), Gaston’s Tavern has a sparkling apple cider slush that looks good, and Rice Krispie treats!

The last couple of trips, I have enjoyed the ginormous ice cream cookie sandwiches from Plaza. Holy moly, they are so good! I think you can get them in Animal Kingdom too. I also second the Karamel shop in Germany, they have the BEST caramel butter bar!

There is a pretzel stand across the walkway from Germany that has authentic German pretzels - they are massive and tasty.

I also like to try cupcakes at as many places as possible - I don't really have a sweet tooth at home, but on vacation watch out. I love the Cookies and Cream cupcake at SSR (I could eat like a million of those), the Darth Vader cupcake at DHS (peanut butter and chocolate - yum), the Oreo cupcake at Boardwalk, the PB&J cupcake at Sunshine Seasons at The Land at Epcot (so delicious). Those are probably my four favorites.

There is a cart at Epcot near the Imagination Pavilion that has flavored popcorn (like cheese), which is good.
