This or that!?

Hey everyone!!! I wanted people's opinions because I am deciding between two restaurants I haven't really heard a lot of!! We are deciding between a Friday night Captains Grille at Yacht Club or Grand Floridian Cafe? We wanted to go to Le Cellier but they were booked for our ENTIRE TRIP and I only called 45 minutes after our ADR's started! Ugh Stupid Free Dining!! Haha! Just Kidding, that is what we are doing!! I haven't heard much of those so just wondered if anyone's been to those two and what you thought!! Thanks!!

Also, has anyone ever been to free dining last year?? Was it insane?? I can't believe that alll of these restaurants are already full.....I am kinda nervous to see how busy it is going to be!!

DH & I had a "date night" at Captains Grille last visit - July '08....Got pizza for the teens at the BC and walked over to Yacht Club.

But they MUST have changed the menu because I could have sworn I had Prime Rib...and I just checked the menu and Prime Rib is not on there!

I can tell you...the atmosphere is not the greatest...our meal was Okay...

Although the restaurant was fairly empty...we were sat next to another older couple....and due to the proximity of the seats...as it was our..."Date Night"...it was a bit awkward at first...until we just said 'heck with it' and just started up quite a wonderful little conversation with the couple (or I think they may have started it with us)...and we were having a nice time...until they sat the 12 topper table with the babies....quite close...and we couldn't hear a thing anymore...

Food was okay. Not quite the romantic meal I had planned. Nice time though...and I wouldn't go back any time soon...unless it was just a last minute matter of convenience....

We have dined at both..Capts Grill was very good but Grand Floridian Cafe was AWESOME! Great atmosphere and excellent food

Been to both both are good but no ? I would go with Capt. Grill
