This Morning at the Lake. Photos.

While they're not always best buddies, for the most part the different species tolerate one another so that all can eat.

The fog had just lifted when I took these shots.

I believe those are Little Blue Herons.

That's a Great Blue Heron with two cattle egrets.

Would you ever think that just 10 feet away is a very busy street with 18 wheelers going by??! The birds seem totally nonplused with that but get edgy when I walk too close.

And, I've been to Lake Arianna. Went swimming/boating there one spring day when I was 15. Got a major sunburn, too.
