This might be old news re: BPA bottle/pump returns

Just FYI - if you have any of the baby gear that was made with BPA (7), Zellers, the Bay, TRU and London Drugs are taking back the used gear, no reciept necessary and giving gift cards with the retail amount.

Just an example - I returned my Avent Isis (yes, you do need all the parts), 2 small bottles and three large bottles to London Drugs yesterday and got back a 120.00 gift card

My friend went two days ago and did hers at the Bay - returned the same amount of items and got bacl 70 something - AND she got a lecture from the person doing the return - while the person at LD actually gave me a copy of the list to check if I had anything else at home that I could bring it

I went to Zellers and brought back the Isis pump (came with a 4 oz bottle) and 2 9oz bottles and got a gift card for $97.

Planning on taking all our Sippy Cups back. Been looking hard for BPA Free ones. MEC has stainless steel ones for $1 4 but they are on Back-order...5 weeks minimum.

Other places I have seen the same cup for $21

FYI - I called Zellers this morning and they said they are only taking back the breast pumps until tomorrow. I tried Shoppers Drug Mart, but they aren't taking any back. If you are planning on taking anything back I'd do it sooner rather than later just in case other stores stop taking them too.
