This may sound silly, but...

This may sound silly, but it's going to be my first time to Walt Disney World.

I was wondering if WDW had any grocery-type store where we could buy cookies, chips, soda, milk, bread, and ham.
If so, where is it located? And what is its name?

If there is no such store, then what would you recommend me to do? I'll be flying from Deep South Texas, and I'll like to have some groceries at my Disney Resort Room. What should I do?

Anything will help.

If you are flying in and take a towncar they let you have a 30 minute stop. Once inside the resorts you are limited to what they sell in the gift shop (milk, donuts at a higher fee). You could also pack some non-perishable items in your suitcase and there are groceries that deliver to the resort (you order online) I haven't done that so I'm not sure of prices.

I like Albertson's because you fax in your list and they shop for you. When you arrive you go to customer service, they pull out your cart and ring you up. You can get anything (fruite, frozen, deli, bakery & alchol as well as regular groceries). Here is what I normally send (inserting the order line by line in the middle) You can specify specific brands or store brand and feel free to show up coupons in hand for checkou

This sounds great, but we won't be driving; we're going to be picked-up by Disney's Magical Express. Since it's my first time, I don't know if the Disney Magical Express Bus will make any stops after picking us up at the airport.

That's a big no. Straight to the resorts (not necessarily your resort first, it makes multiple stops). That leaves you a few choices.....
- ship yourself a box of non-pershiable items to the resort a few days before leaving
- put non-perishables in your suitecase. (you can buy milk depending where you are staying - at least small containers, some resorts and the campground offer more)
- use wegoshop.com they deliver (including perishables) to your resort
- depending on length of stay & what groceries you want reconsider ME to the resort. Use a car service (with a 30 minute stop) or rent a car for 1 day and return at the Swan or car center
