This may be a super dumb question....

We chose our FP+, but our little one is 2 years old so therefore free and isn't included in the FP+. But he will be able to ride, right? I feel like such a dork asking this, lol...but with this new system, I just don't know. And one thing I don't like is that the rides are broken up into categories. We planned on getting a FP for TSM and also for RnR, but couldn't get both because they're in the same category. :confused3 So we're kind of stuck getting FP's for rides we normally wouldn't get one for.

It's not a dumb question... I had the same concern when we went in December. Your 2yo is included with your fast pass

Thank you! Ok, now....my 10 year old has grown to dislike space mountain. He says he's going to try it this year. What if he doesn't want to? If he doesn't, than my husband won't either because he doesn't care for the ride either. So is that a wasted FP or can they get another FP for another ride, assuming there's any left while in the park?

You can change it that day, but you will be limited to what is available.

Like PP stated, you will be able to change it at the park for another. The downside is that you choose from whatever is available. For me, the up in the air ride was Big Thunder Mountain during our visit in December, so instead of booking a FP+ for that, I just make that my first ride of the day. That way, if we decided to skip it, we could easily ride something else nearby with a comparable low wait because it's first thing in the morning.
