but, I'm going to ask anyway.

I'm a member of the Disney Club, which also gives me discounts on hotels via "Entertainment".

Can I use my Disney Club Card with the Entertainment logo on back to get the Entertainment card discount at the Universal onsite hotels????????????

Sadly, NO. The Disney Card "Entertainment" is NOT good at Universal hotels. You need to get THE Entertainment Book. You can get a book at www.entertainment.com
First check and see if the entertainment rate is available for your dates.

...And SquirrelsMom, there ARE no stupid questions!!! :)

Ok, I lied, there are, but this isn't one of them!!! :D

gschmerl,

Thanks for the info and the link for the entertainment book.

MsDisney,

Thanks for helping me feel that my question was OK.

Thanks for helping me feel that my question was OK.

We are friendly folk here! Never be afraid to ask a question...that's what this board is here FOR!:)

If someone makes you feel stupid, then THEY are the ones with the problem, not you!;)

Silly! ;)

I just made a reservation at the HRH for July, using the entertainment rate, $125, and she said that I need to show my entertainment card upon check in. I told her I had the disney club card which has the entertainment symbol on the back, she that that was fine! Go figure!

Daisie,
You might want to double check on that. People on this board have tried to use the DC Entertainment card and we told No Way at the Universal hotels. YOu might want to spend the $20 for the Entertainment Book to play it safe.

when I saw your post re:ent on DC being accepted I called RPR to double check. I have two rooms reserved in Aug with Ent rate and was told that I would need separate Ent card for each room - I also have DC, so was hoping to use that for one of the rooms, but was told over the phone that the DC card Ent would not give me the Ent rate - she even left the phone to double check with her manager for me - so you may want to call back and make sure - and let me know if they said yes again to the DC card - would save me digging up another ent card.

bjakmom, are both the rooms in your name? I haven't heard of anyone needing two cards.

Yes, renee, both the rooms are in my name- my friend will be driving up later in the evening so I want to check in both rooms at the same time so I'm sure we're close - can't get connecting because he said they alternated the rooms:2 Qs, then 1 K and we both need 2 Qs. I was told that specifically for ent rate each room must be checked in with a separate ent card #. Not the biggest deal to me, everyone I know has one - we buy them through our PTA fundraiser.

Well I just got off the phone with universal.......first she told me there should be no problem with my disney club card, I told her "my friend" told me otherwise and to please double check...good thing I keep up with the information on these boards, she came back and said, no I'm sorry the disney club card would not be accepted, just the regular entertainment card.
Thanks so much for the information, sorry I gave the wrong info, but thats what I was told when I made my reservation!

:)
Still extremely happy about 125 a night!!!!

No problem, Daisie, we understand too well - the most consistent thing about both WDW and USF (IMHO) is the inconsistency of the info you get from their ressie depts! That's one of the big values of these boards for me, too!!
