This is what happens when DH takes control!! An OCD planners TR... 2/28 Updates!!

What a wonderful birthday surprise. I got a little misty myself.

I loved the pics of the fireworks and parade. I got some nice shots last trip but couldn't get the whole castle. Maybe next trip.

I really must try to STOP GETTING DISTRACTED!!! I read, think about replying, then get distracted. I have been loving your updates, but your birthday surprise was AMAZING!!! I'm so glad it came off so smoothly, and that Disney was such a help to get it set up. Really, a great birthday surprise!

Awesome Update!!! I am SO glad that Chad or Terry did not tell me about the surprise or I would have TOTALLY spilled the beans... :rotfl2:

I think I was just as shocked as you, ok maybe not that much, but I was SO surprised when Chad and Terry texted me the pics of you 3 together in Disney!!!

I was even more HAPPY to be able to spend time with you guys!!! I wish we got to hang out more then we did, and I TOTALLY can not thank, you, Terry and Chad enough for my Disney Dooney for my Birthday!!! I always get asked where I got it from! To which I respond from the GREATEST people EVER!

Terry, I will have you know that the photopass of us on Test Track that is on my desktop at work puts a smile on my face everyday! :) Great memories and hope for more in the future!

PS Devon is highly p'ed off that we can not go to Disney with you guys in Oct 2012.

Talk to you all soon!

I have been following Tracy's report and just had to pop over here to see what all the secrets were. OMG! This is wonderful . What a wonderful surprise. It does tear me up looking at the pictures and watching the amazing video. ....Now the girls in the Minnie ears standing next to your brother before he surprises you...Is she with him, or just happens to be a bystander. It almost looks like she knows you, but then I never see her again.:confused3

Thanks everybody!! I still get all emotional when I look at the pics and video!!

My brother is being deployed at the end of summer again so it was really amazing to have a week by ourselves with him just to have fun! We normally have to share with my parents and his friends so this was great!

Those girls are not with us... They saw the photopass guy positioning us and decided to stop right there, in the video if you just watch them, you see Chad has to move one of them out of his way to get to me...

Day 4... Part 5...

Once we got done with the photographers, Chad said it was time for a churro... Chad loves churros, would eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner if he thought he wouldn't gain weight...

Okay, so now is probably a good time to mention that my brother doesn't really like his picture taken, so he kinda sneaks a middle finger into the shots when he can... Now, I will try and catch all of them, and either not post those ones or put a little image over it, but if I miss on and post it, it is not my intention to offend anyone or anything, so I will apologize now!! :rolleyes1

Chad was pretty hungry, but he was told at check in that they were updating the system and couldn't load his dining plan or charging privileges to his card. Terry said lunch was on us, it was the least he could do for seeing the look on my face when I saw Chad. We sat with him while he ate and just chatted with was seriously awesome, I still couldn't believe that my brother was in front of me... :cloud9:

Churro was consumed after lunch, the first of many!!

We hit a few rides, although I can't remember exactly which ones... I think Splash Mountain and Big Thunder... Possibly Pirates too... :confused3

I know we headed to the monorail after that, Terry was dying to ride test track... It was on the monorail that it was decided that today would be a day of riding big rides... and we would hit 3 parks... Now if you remember correctly, I had wanted to spend a nice leisurely day roaming through World Showcase... But ask me if I really cared at this point... They could have said that we were leaving WDW and sleeping under a bridge for the next week and I still would have been happy.

Epcot is when we realized that single rider is the way to go if you don't have a fastpass for the ride you want. We are all adults and sitting together on every ride was not that important... Plus we saved a lot of time... It was funny to see all the faces we would make on the rides... I must say, we are total nerds...

After Test Track and Soarin, we headed toward the International Gateway, where we came across this guy...

Now, what you don't see is that there were other birds in the water, who kept coming closer to him and then he would put his wings out and stand on one leg... It was funny and we started "talking" for him... Mostly inappropriate things... :rolleyes1

Then it became a joke that was used through out the trip and Chad's time at home after the trip. You will see many pictures for the rest of the TR... Like I said, we are dorks...

Well, we decided to turn our bird friend into a mythical creature... We started with a crane, then added a nice hissing sound like a snake crossing with a cat, then added the velociraptor because they are scary... We call it the "Crake"... Be afraid, be VERY afraid!!

We made it to HS and headed to RnRC, but Terry had to snap a picture, look at the color of the sky, it was amazingly blue!!

I forewarned you on the goofy pics... You should see the one Terry took before this one... :rolleyes1 Once I edit something out I will post it!

In this pic, you will notice that Chad and Terry decide to do the Crake while I stick with the super cool rock and roll pose...

Terry talked us into ToT, and it was at this point in the ride Chad and I both started telling him we hated him and we cursed the day he was born... Pretty sure we showed him the Crake a few times too...

Terry took pictures from the ride...

Redneck pic...

One more whirl on RnRC, notice we all did the Crake and the girl next to me totally looks like a teenage Mariah Carey to me!!

We left HS and went to Pop to get Chad's room and make sure they could load his dining plan on his card before dinner!!

We got his room which was the connecting room to ours!! Go Terry!! He really was on top of it!! His luggage was not in the room yet so I called down to luggage services and found out they put it in the wrong room!! :scared1:

After getting him all settled we headed back to Epcot... Rode test track again.

We then went to the world showcase and wandered around... We had 9pm reservations at Le Cellier... Terry tried to get close to original time os 6, but you can imagine how difficult it was to just get a ADR period!! I am pretty proud of him for accomplishing everything he did!!

Dinner was amazing and Chad LOVED the food! Our server was very friendly, and we were actually her last table... She was headed back to Canada as her visa was expiring. She said she enjoyed her time in the US, but missed her family so was happy to be going home.

We have no other pictures from tonight, but that was because Terry would sometimes say that he was done with the camera for a while and just wanted to enjoy his time...

We headed out of the park and toward the buses, when we were chatting, and just being silly... All of the sudden we heard a buzzing sound, turn around to find Bill cruising up behind us with Tracy following! I loved the excited look on Bill's face when we turned around... Such a happy guy!! :lovestruc

We made our way to our rooms at Pop, totally ready to get some sleep!! I was thoroughly exhausted and just completely happy to have just celebrated my birthday in my favorite place on Earth with some of my favorite people in this world.

I am enjoying your trip report. The castle pictures are amazing. What a great surprise. Thanks for posting.

Day 5... Part 1...

This morning we met Tracy and Bill at HS, and all 5 of us went to ride Toy Story. Then we lied to Tracy and Terry told her he needed Bill's help on something for me. Little did she know it was Bill needing Terry and Chad's help shopping for HER!! While the guys were busy shopping, Tracy and I wondered through One Man's Dream, and for the first time ever I watched the video!! I loved it!! :lovestruc

Terry left his camera in the room this morning, since we wouldn't be too long. But I do have a few photopass pics from this morning.

I love this one... It just shows what dorks we are... My poor Mom has to fight to get a serious picture out of us. Terry had to call her a few time on the trip so she could yell at us. She told him her only request was some nice pictures of her kids.

After our time with Tracy and Bill we headed back to Pop and got Bertha, then made our way to DTD...

Lunch was here...

Do you see the way Chad is feeling up Tigger??? :scared1:

We were missing the kids a bit so we went in here next...

And then here...

At this point my poor Visa was whining about being tired and worn... So we made our way to the West Side...

We did some damage in this place for Tailor! They have some VERY cute things in there, and they also have a awesome website!! I gave a few things for Christmas gifts and the girls LOVED them!

The next picture I have is from a boat heading to HS from the Boardwalk area, but I have NO CLUE how we got there... I am guessing we took a bus from DTD to Boardwalk or something.

Made our way into the park and where did we head???

Great installments, I am loving all the pictures. You know this is one of my favorites:

I still can't believe you people lied to me :sad1:. It was great to go to One Man's Dream with you and see the movie at the end. Can't wait to read and see more pictures!!
