NOW its the 10 day dance......August 11th is right around the corner. We are so looking forward to 11nights at POR.

Seeing as we will be there at the same time.......I'M AT 10 DAYS TOO

I think I'm going to faint.

When do you guys start packing?????

Being a college student, I work part-time in the summer for extra money, but this week I'm working 40 hours because its tax-free weekend the 6,7,8th.....so maybe working so much will keep my mind out of going insane.

Twinkles...we leave from MDW-Chicago on Wed. 8-11 at 3PM arrive @ MCO at 6:40PM..ATA.

Staying at POR for 11nights...where will you guys be ?

You be able to find me making a "goof" ( hence the name ) in the River Roost Lounge dancing away to the tunes of Bob Jackson. ( I will be the one who , in the back of my mind, knows that I will NEVER see those people again.)

As far as packing...later today I am playing golf with buddies...DW has told me to bring the suitcases up from the basement...she will start some packing later this afternoon.

We are VERY LUCKY a friend of ours, who is divorved, stays at our house with our DD..( Disney Dog ) while we are gone. So today I am treating him for golf.

Our dog, a 2 yro Aussie / German Sheppard mix, already knows something is about to happen. But he has been thru this before. Besides me and DW....my friend is the ONLY other person we trust our dog with. That makes our trip so much better.

I'd be even more excited, but my youngest is running a 102+ fever and has a sore throat/ear pain. She doesn't have an ear infection, but she's still feeling really yucky. She has great timing...sigh...

I am still excited though and have faith that she'll be back to her old self by the time we leave. *crossing fingers*

Almost time for our trip also. DH and kids are getting excited, me on the other hand, getting really nervous. We have never been so far from home before.

I'm sure everything will be fine, just custom too if something happened to DS and/or DD, I could just get what I need at home and get it taken care of. DH keeps kidding and laughing at me that if I write down anymore on my list of things to pack that we are going to need an RV instead of our mini van. "LOL!!! Laugh it up furball!!"

I wish that were my dog! I took that picture at the Cubs convention last year. The dog was posing for pictures . The girl next to him is my DD.

BTW, we'll be at Villas at Wilderness Lodge from 8/15-8/20 and then we'll move to POFQ for 4 nights .

Bummer! I hope she feels better tomorrow. Call your doctor and see if you can give her anything that might help for the flight. You might also want to look into "ear planes" that help with pressure.
