Just an FYI these were taken at about 12:30 p.m. today: I posted these pics with my live TR but thought I would post these 2 here in case you guys are wondering about the crowds.

Yesterday was a little crowded, but not bad at all. No where as empty as those pics though!!! Lucky duck!

Wow, what a difference from all of the pics posted last week!!! I guess Fall Breaks for most schools are the first two weeks of October! I hope Friday looks like this! DH and I will be there just for the day! I know it won't be that empty on a Friday, but a girl can wish right??? LOL!

Wow, that's great! I bet a lot of San Diegans didn't go today because the 5 was closed in both directions at one point due to the fires at Camp Pendleton (which is on the San Diego County/Orange County border).

I wanted to go this week but changed my mind with the wind and the fires, though if I lived closer I'd be there!

This is the calm before the storm. UEA starts Thursday and the crowds will hit by Friday for sure. Those pics do look lovely, though.

That looks awesome!!!! Lucky for you!! Your idea is also really cool. I personally would love if we got to see more pictures like this, even on crowded days, but just to get a sense of the crowds around that time of year/week/day. I know it may not be like this on this day next year, but it still gives people ideas of how it MAY be. Anyway, thanks for stopping by to make us all jealous.

Yep! Utah Fall break starts on this Thurs and some schools just get the Thurs and Fri and some even add the Monday. Just depends on the school district! Plan on an influx of Utahns!

WOW! That's SO empty!

I know that UEA will make it really crowded this upcoming weekend and most likely Monday, too. I'm so glad I'm going next Wednesday. I'm hoping for crowds somewhat like this but I'm not getting my hopes up too high because I think the fires had a lot to do with crowd levels today.
