This is today in DL (pics)

Darn it! I'm here at the DLH, but stuck in conference sessions all day until Friday! And I can't dare skip out to hit the parks, cause I know my boss will quiz me when I get back, he doesn't trust me at all!!

I did manage to get over to DL at about 5:30, and I definitely noticed the lower crowds. DH and I were here on vacation last year with the Phoenix crowd, and it was a LOT busier!!

Tonight, I noted that Peter Pan had a 20 minute wait, as did Indy. Pirates was a walk on.

I guess we'll see you Utahians (?) on Friday!! ;)

I've been keeping an eye out for LGMH, but none so far! Maybe the DIS ladies will be easier to spot on Friday, with our LGLs (Lime Green Leis!).

Great Picts!!!

I would have liked to see a picture of the tip board to see wait times also.

We leave on the 19th untill the 26th I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. We thought it would be a busy time but we wanted a change from our usual early Dec trip, we are so excited to see the Halloween decorations. I have to ask what is UEA?

Wow !!
You guys are LUCKY - the park is basically EMPTY !
I wish Sunday was like that :headache: it was SO packed.
Made me very grumpy.

Oh I didn't go. My BFF went with her other friends and I asked her to take a picture for me.

I'm going NEXT Wednesday and I'm hoping it looks like that! :goodvibes

We will be there Dec 7 onwards (first time at DL). Can we expect scenes like this? Or are we going to be standing in lines most of the day. Going with DD2 and DD4, for the first time to any theme park.

Yes, I think it's safe to say that there shouldn't be big crowds. Early December is usually pretty peaceful.

Well wait...isn't the Candlelight Processional happening on the 7th? That's not going to be peaceful at all.

Oh, I don't know anything about that.

I retract my previous statement ;) the days after should be ok but idk anymore.

ohhh.. well doesn't the Candlelight Processional end on the 7th (sunday)? We arrive late on 7th, so might just catch a show or a ride or two, get a little comfy with the layout of the park and walk to the park (from the hotel). the real disney vacation starts on Monday the 8th, and I am so hoping we get lucky with low crowds. DD2 can not stand idle in one place for more than a few minutes.

From what I read on micechat, they have it on the 6th and 7th.

And then by looking at the schedules, it seems the Cast Member parties are on the 8th and 9th, b/c Disneyland is closing at 6pm each of those nights, with DCA staying open until 9pm.

So it's going to be an interesting visit for those days, and I have no idea what the crowds will be like!

Wow. I wish it looked like that when I went to Disney. For it to look like that, I would have had to sneak into the park are like 4:30 in the morning

I was at Disneyland from Tuesday the 14th until Saturday the 18th, and on Tues, Wed, and Thurs the crowds were not bad at all. Barely any waits on the rides, it was nice.

Friday was a whole different story!!! OMG, it was a zoo!!!

I took these pics in front of HM on Friday and as you can see it was shoulder to shoulder people and strollers everywhere.

The line was really long too. Over an hour wait. Since we'd been there so long already we just chilled and took it easy that day, spent a lot of time on the island, etc.
Saturday was just as bad but thankfully we won dream fast passes so it made all the difference in the world having those. :wizard:
