We had a cleaner for about 4.5 years; after DS was born.

Problem was that we found we were constantly running around and tidying up before she came so that she would have clear surfaces to clean up.
In the end, she was getting a bit lazy and wasn't doing that great a job. I think we finally give her the flick because she started to want to change our day around to fit in "a friend".

DH prefers to clean the house himself, anyway. When there's two of us doing it, the housework really isn't that bad.

I have a friend who's family was like that.

She'd come to school and say....cleaning day...as in....cleaning up for the cleaner to come day

But...as they could afford one they had one...

Question for you guys... I'm slowly putting together an outfit for a 50s themed party I'm going to in May. I ordered this dress this morning, but I don't know what kind of pantyhose to wear. Black or nude? They'd be sheer, not opaque.

Some goth website. I had to order it from there because they were the only site I could find with it in my size. I found it googling for "plus size rockabilly polka dot dress". I don't think I'll ever order from that site again, though, because their shipping prices are ridiculous (ten bucks for one thing?).

I'm thinking nude as well. I'm planning on getting a red crinoline to wear underneath it, and am going to wear a pair of mary jane high heels that I already own. Not sure what I'm doing with my hair.

Honestly, that's what I've been looking for The problem is that I can't find nude backseam thigh highs in my size I found ONE site that has them, but I'm fairly positive that the site is defunct.
