He lives in two places at once. A very common thing for shift workers is a 'bolt hole' in London. So he lives part time in the house and part time with the parents. It's all complicated.

So the managers, call the meeting in Vegas, to try to sell you something.

If you want a REIT, why don't you just sell the property, and invest in another REIT?

Now I can see why this was important to attend, so you can get face time with the other owners.

The problem is that this investment is almost worthless. No one wants to buy it, and we don't have the money to pay the mortgage in May. They are offering the REIT as a way to salvage the investment. From the January meeting it appears a lot of these people are morons who don't realize that Real Estate has plummeted in the past few years.

I often wondered about those TR's . Why would you just keep adding like that. I would rather have them all seperated. New people may get confused.

I prefer the "self contained" type. They have a vibe and style. I am following a never ending DLR one and I find that I only catch up when I'm bored. It's not at all enthralling unless something monumental is going on.
