I noticed you did end up getting a few champions over there. For the most part people are nice over there. It is just a few choice people that are snarky.

Hey, Kelly! What value resort would you recommend? Pop Century? and which area?

For our Jan 2013 trip, we are thinking of using our points for BLT after the cruise which means we wouldn't have enough points to stay prior to the cruise. But we may just stay at a value resort instead to save $$.

I was at All Stars Music one time and loved the food court.

If it's not that much more we'll upgrade to POFQ but considering value resorts first.

I love Pop too! I've stayed both at All star and Pop and we usually prefer Pop although when we went summer of 2010 it was awful with all the renovation construction which I'm sure is done now. The food court at Pop is great too! Chris always raves about it

oh I am loving it girl!

I am liking the sound of Port Orleans more and more. That is probably the one we will choose as long as prices stay the same for the next month.

My Dad has offered to book the trip for us as a wedding present! Very generous of him I know! But he says he won't book it until after we are married, which is fair. So after the 18th of Feb. And I go back to work the beginning of May, so we are looking at mid April for the trip

I want to make some meal reservations now, just because if we wait until Feb, there's some places we might not get to eat at. The top on my list are Chef Mickey's for dinner and Ohana's for breakfast. Those are really the only character meals we want to do.

Does anyone else have any recommendations? We are planning on getting the dining plan that includes one sit down place a day.

I would flip it...Ohana for dinner, and Chef Mickey's for breakfast. The only draw to Chef Mickey's is the characters, and of course Mickey himself being the star! Breakfast, you can't really go wrong. Like Carla said, dinner not very good.

My scans and labs came back with no cancer showing. You can't see colon cancer by a ct scan so I'll be having a colonoscopy (Oh Joy!!! ) in the next month or so. But the good news is even if there is some cancer left in there they should be able to get it out during my surgery. But since it's not in my blood or anything it's probably not tere!! God is good and I am HAPPY!!! My boys couldn't hardly speak they just kept saying Thank you God, Thank you Lord in high whispers!!! LOL I can't wait to see them and hug them! They just left Tues but I had to leave when thy were still asleep so I missed their hugs although I got them the night before!!!

I am sorry I haven't been on as much but as I recover I'm sure I'll be back to bug ya'll some more!!

Yes I am!! So very happy! The Dr tells me I should recover from the cemo effects in the next few months and I can't wait!!!

Leah -- just wanted to say that your emails make me thrilled with laughter and praise for God's goodness!!

We also had a miracle today -- Jerry walked into a meeting and was told that he still has a job -- he is officially approved.

We didn't know that. When he took the job in November we thought it was a done deal.

Turns out there were some security issues that were still being worked (since he is govt contractor).

PRAISE to GOD for his miracles!!

Chef Mickey's dinner = BLECH! You're better off going to breakfast! I have lots of recommendations! CRT, 50's Prime Time, Beaches & Cream (no reservations and you have to pay out of pocket, though), Liberty Tree Tavern...I guess it depends what you like. Oh, and my kids really liked the meal at that African restaurant at AKL...what the hell is the name of that place? My brain is gone. I don't like it so much because it's a buffet and buffets freak me out, but they really liked the food.

And like Kelly had said, 50's Prime Time Cafe (at DHS) is simply awesome.

O.k I just got back from the surgeon and they did see an extremely enlarged ovary with a cyst. Women with colorectal (don't ya just LOVE that name???!!) are prone to having ovarian cancer especially those with tumors the size of mine that perforated the intestinal wall. So the general rule of thumb now is if they are enlarged take them out. They used to just take them out of every woman. I already have a partial hysterctomy so the only other side effect is early menopause! Well I sure don't want ovarian cancer!! They don't know if the cyst is cancerous or not. They'll biopsy it after surgery. I do have polycystic ovaries so it could just be a normal cyst. The surgery is a big procedure of at least 3-4 hours long, me staying in the hospital about a week, then in Houston at least 5-7 more days and since I only live an hour and a half to two hours away then I can go home for follow up. Not sure when the date will be right now. I have to wait at least 6 weeks to recover from chemo before they'll do anything and I need a lovely colonoscopy! Fun!! NOT!!!

So happy though that everything else looks good so I'm still praising God which I would be anyway cause without Him I wouldn't be here anyway!!

Oh....not in my experience. I didn't think about Stitch. Never went for a breakfast there but I did really enjoy my dinner. They should bring Stitch in for dinner huh!

I'm good. The nausea has returned in the evenings and I tossed my cookies 2 nights ago (well my snickers ice cream bar actually LOL)
But I really can't complain because my dreams are coming true!!!

Just looking forward to the dr on Thursday. I get to hear the heartbeat again!
