I am glad to hear Kody is doing well. How does that work? Does she have to get online and take classes at certains or can she do it whenver she wants? Does she wake up at a normal time, or does she get to sleep in? You knwo I always have all kinds of crazy questions

Oh my. I am sorry to hear about Loren. I am glad he confided in you. I hate how cruel kids can be sometimes. You are great mom for allowing him to go to school at home. Are you going be teaching him or are you doing online school for him as well?

I make Kody get up at 7 am. Now her laptop should be delivered tomorrow so that is a good thing. Technically she has until midnight for me to enter in her hours on the computer, but I won't let her set the schedule or she would still be doing it at midnight. That just isn't going to happen.


I am glad he confided in my too. It breaks my heart, I cried. Kids are extremely cruel. Loren will be "attending" the same school Kody is. The wonderful thing about this school is that they have tutors available 24 hours a day for them if they have any problems. It will all be okay.


The material for Jason's blankets is so soft. Especially the TTTE fleece. And the design is so cute!!

No excitement in my life. I spent a lazy weekend trying to recuperate from my cold.

I did start working on Jason's Thomas blanket. All I am doing is hemming the edges of a piece TTTE fleece material. It is similar to the Veggie Tale one I made for Stephanie before he was born. He fell in love with hers and took it over. So I am making him a TTTE ones and a Cars one. Kody wants the Cars one.

She has been kicking butt on her school work since she started the new school. She is sitting down at the computer and kicking out the work. Already her grades are picking up, and her attitude is sooooooo much better.

I don't know if I told you but I have been having problems with Loren not wanting to go to school. Pretending he is sick and then once he knows he is home he will work around the house. I finally sat him down the other day and made him tell me why he doesn't want to be at school. He is getting picked on, kids are calling him names and just generally bullying him. He is a chubby kid and lacks a lot of confidence. I decided that I am going to home school him too. In for a penny in for a pound. So tomorrow I am starting the paperwork to get him in. Craziness. I told him that he will be doing PE with Scotty, they will jog together, and he and I will exercise together. He will go back to the high school for his senior year so that he can graduate with his friends.

The thing is that I was picked on in high school and more than once I wanted to kill myself. I was miserable and the only reason I didn't kill myself was because I couldn't figure out a way to do it. I got passed that but I don't ever want any of my children to have that desperate feeling and anything I can do to help them I will. I think this will help Loren.

Sorry I was so long winded but I needed to share.

UGH. I am so sorry to hear about Loren. It is just awful what happens in school, and as you said, you know all about it. So good for you to catch this early and way to step up and take charge for your kids.

just saw this. I'm feeling pretty good. Just very tired lately. I am falling asleep by 8 every night. Last night I stayed on the couch to keep myself awake for Dexter & Homeland....crashed as soon as I got in bed though! LOL

I am just starting to get the food aversions, and I feel the morning(all day) sickness coming soon...

Sorry to hear this ... the "morning sickness" bites but at least you know that means your body is doing what it needs to do to help your little baby grow!

I hit 12 weeks on January 20. Still a long way to go, and I know that I still might not feel good then. LOL

I am still doing okay, no true nausea yet. I am only 5 weeks, 2 days today. I'm going on Friday to get an ultrasound and hopefully see the heartbeat! We went last Fri actually....and saw one little yolk sac!! But my Dr said there still could be a second one hiding...so we'll find out for sure this Friday! Just happy they saw a normal looking yolk sac

Just happy they saw a normal looking yolk sac

yay!! And hearing the heartbeat for the first time is just such a surreal experience. Just writing this still gives me chills remembering hearing each of my girls' heartbeats for the first time. Then with Elie I got to see her squirm around on the screen -- so utterly cool. She was just a blob at that point. Wait until you start to identify body parts -- Ooooh, this is sooo exciting!!

We are sick here. The stomach flu has hit our house like a wildfire.


Our weather is odd too. First all that wind and strangely warm weather. It reminded me of summer weather. Now this week we have cold weather, it was 28 degrees this morning. I think we are headed to a cold winter.

It hit Scotty over night. He is sleeping right now. Odd thing is that I am the only one that ran a fever. I range around 102 degrees the whole time. My fever broke overnight so I figure I am over the worst of it. Loren is remaining well, of course he is taking the antibacterial cleaners where ever he goes. I am not happy that we got it.


The cold weather is not pleasant at all. but it beats the heck out of the wind.

Chele ~ sorry to hear sickies are at your house Hope everyone feels better soon! We've been sick here too. Chris has a cold and I had a really bad upset stomach yesterday but we're both doing a bit better today.

I need to read back and catch up on everything again. I keep falling behind here. I'm so stressed out lately between the in law drama, work crap and Alex's birthday party and Christmas coming up. I'm so ready to be done with all of it. I was so stressed by the end of today that my joints hurt so bad. Took some tylenol and now just vedging in front of the TV. I have off with Alex tomorrow. I'm praying he sleeps good tonight. I could really use a good night's sleep.

Well, thank you. Today was beyond stress. On the good side Loren should be starting his online school as soon as next week. His Dr wrote him an excuse through December 20 just in case there is a problem with signing him out.

Nope I am just signing him out. I talked to his Dr and he is giving him a Drs excuse. He understands what I am doing and he is trying to help me through this to the bitter end.
