RE: AI ... I know I had Scotty as my #2 pick all season (James Durbin was my #1) but I don't think he deserved it. Lauren, IMHO, is the one who improved the most and did better on Tuesday night.

But, I'm not unhappy with Scotty as the winner. I still love him and think he is a cutie ... and it was super cool that when he was given his chance to speak -- he thanked God first!!

I'm so thankful that our little group has stuck together on this thread! And for the new ones that came along too! Even though I was gone for a while and am slowly trying to learn who's who!!!
Ya'll have been my support group, prayer & positive thinking team. My biggest cheerleaders for Braeton outside of family and for my little family. Ya'll were there for me thru all the ups & downs with Shannon every time we thought he had a kidney, or ended up inthe hospital. This summer during the last month of Shannons life I can't tell ya'll how much every text, call, FB message or post on here meant to me. After Shannon passed Ya'll were such a strength even though I didn't get on here much. Chele and Kelly kept me informed! And then to get that special package in the mail from you all! If only everyone had a group like ours!!!
I have had a rough few days being sick trying to recover from this surgery and today has made me feel so much better. In fact I've stopped running fever.
Hope everyone is good. Thank you all once again for being who you are and being MY friends!!!

We've been back since Tuesday evening and I'm still in recovery mode

It was a nice trip but SO crowded and HOT!

Near the end of our trip is certainly got a LOT more hot and crowded. My parents were going to stay an extra 4-5 days but ended up canceling early b/c they couldn't stand the heat, smoke from the wildfires and crowds.

Hope you still had fun and got a lot done!!

I heard from Leah. She was dehydrated. They ran loads of tests and they found a 4cm pelvic cyst. She is going to be discharged. They are starting Chemo as soon as she recovers from this.

I think the end of your trip was the beginning of mine I don't blame your parents for canceling and going home. It was just too much. In all of my trips, that has been one of the busiest. Of course we always go around October and February so that's definitely a slower time.

Well there are no rules bout taking your kids out, but still I don't like him to miss a lot of days

So I picked what is known as Jersey week since Trent has half week off anyway. So he is going to only miss 3 days.,

One of the 3 days will be a nothing day as far as school goes, as the week is only 2 days to begin with as that starts Jersey week

November 8th...NO pressure
