Ugh... Owen's fever was 102.6 this morning!!! YIKES! I got him an appt. at 10:45 this morning... can't get here soon enough. I just want my poor boy to feel better as soon as possible.

The verdict is it's viral. Rapid strep test came back negative. They will call if the 3 day test is positive. I hate to feel like I'd rather it had been positive but at least with a bacterial infection you get on an antibiotic and start to feel better in a couple days. With viral, who knows how long it could linger? Poor little guy.

I am always in agreement with that issue.

I'm all about having an ANSWER to sicknesses and such...but when there is no true answer (like, well...certain things in my life) then it's just the pits.

Ordered our new sectional! It will take awhile ~ up to 12 weeks ~ because they don't stock it in the color we chose.

I also found out we can order 2 of the chairs we want too but by the time I called back to do that they were closed. So I'll do that tomorrow.

I'm excited!


Sooo..... Anyone want to buy a couch and a chair with ottoman... only slightly chewed on by Tank... bargain price?

Well! If all that doesn't make a girl feel good I don't know what would!!
Trying my best to get things budgeted to have internet on in march but still w/out a job sooooo we'll see.
Braeton goes up for surgery March 4th and will be in casts for 6 weeks 2 of which will be total wheelchair bound. Pray for myback!! It's the heel cord surgery and we're hoping this will help enough to put off the major surgery to untwist his legs for another year or so untill he gets in a nongrowth spurt.
The kid is growing like a weed! He's already up to my chest! They say it looks like he'll be @ 6ft. Poor baby can you imagine trying to balance that!! He really will be running us all over!! he already knocks us down now just trying to balance!
In the meantime he's really fighting one illness after another and it is not looking too great.
We see an infectious disease Dr Thurs please keep us in your prayers that they'll find out the answers. I'll try to text someone if not ya'll text me and I'll let you know what I know if I know anything!
If this is on the wrong thread ya'll can post it on the other. I'm in the library and have to go.
Just wanted to pop on for a minute!

Home again with Owen today. He's better but felt he needed one more day to rest.

I am currently relieved he has tired of SpongBob and Phineas and Ferb so we are watching Old Dogs. I'd forgotten just how funny this movie is.
