Time for me to vent a little. I am sorry but I am kind of upset right now. Today is MIL's birthday, I decided to be the nice DIL and I wished her a happy birthday and told her that I loved her. Now mind you I did that on FB because I do not have her new phone number or her address since she moved. I won't say my opinion of that. Well when Scotty came home from work I made him wish her a happy birthday. He got a thank you son, and an I love you. I didn't even get acknowledged. Wow that stung. She acknowledge all of the other people but never said a word to me.

The thing is they don't. I had to make him tell his mom happy birthday yesterday. He didn't want to do it. I hate to sound awful but I won't remind him or make him again. I have names for her that I am too polite to use on such a family friendly website. But one of them rhymes with witch.

But, you know what? I am not gonna stress her!!

Furniture shopping was a success!!! We found a sectional we really like. It's one that you can buy pieces and configure it how you want it. This is it.

We are thinking we will order it in brick. The pieces we will get are the armless sofa for the middle and the chaise lounge for one end and the snuggler for the other end.

We also found these which we would like 2 of. BUT it seems they are discontinued and we didn't ask at the store if they have 2 available. Got to call.



Yucky news.... Owen is sick AGAIN. He went to bed last night with a little bit of a sore throat and woke up this morning with a fever of 101. I cannot for the life off me fathom why he keeps getting sick over and over again. It's getting ridiculous. Luckily we are off tomorrow so he won't miss school but sheesh... here we go back to the doctor.

that hurts, ouch bigtime. My MIL doesn't have fb (well, mike made a joint account in FIL & MIL's name but they have never used it )

Ugh... Owen's fever was 102.6 this morning!!! YIKES! I got him an appt. at 10:45 this morning... can't get here soon enough. I just want my poor boy to feel better as soon as possible.
