I was 4th out of 4 girls. When I was a teenager and "expressed my displeasure" with my mother, she'd smile and tell me I'd get over it. :headache:

I couldn't throw anything at her she hadn't already heard before... many times! :laughing:

This is probably why the one and only time Abby ever told me she hated me ~ which was when she was about 4 years old ~ I ever so calmly said, "Yeah, you'll get over that."

Full circle. :thumbsup2

It'll be alright Michele! You can adopt my mantra! :hug:

Thanks Nicole.

I think that the reason it bothers me so much is that my mom in so many ways is slipping into her second childhood in some ways and on the other hand treating me like I am a teenager. It is driving me nuts.

I will get over this, I always do but some days are worst than others.:confused3

ooh, you'll have to remind me on Feb 13th :-P

Will do my best :wizard:

:thumbsup2 Nice to see ya Betsy!!

well, I'm a lazy bones and just thought word was going to get spread around. (I didn't have anyone's screennames since I usually just go to a thread on my CP and get them there :laughing:)

yeah sorry Chele, I was lazy. (and busy farming & setting up my biz :rotfl:)

FB has been driving me COMPLETELY batty lately. Everytime I try to do anything on there, it makes me log in!! And then half the time it says my password is incorrect over and over! (when its obviously not) For a couple of days I had trouble sending messages. It wouldn't let me "suggest" my business page at ALL.

I can seem to write on walls without a problem but I was not about to leave the link out there for just anyone to see :sad2:

Thanks Kelly!

oh sounds like you have SUCH a time with your mom!

EEk, I really need to order a new video! I loooove watching them!! And every time I am getting close to a trip, I pull my whole collection out and watch them from oldest to newest. (if I was at my mom's house that would be a lot bigger collection. :rotfl:)

awesome!!! :thumbsup2

You have a lot going on. but goooood stuff! :goodvibes

FB can be crazy at time

You'er welcome :goodvibes

I totally missed my 9000th post!!! Actually I made a mental note at 8997 that I would come here and post my 9000th but then once I hit it, I guess I was busy posting elsewhere :laughing:

Well, I'll celebrate here anyway!!!

:dance3::banana::cheer2:party::cheer2::banana: :dance3:

9000!!!

Gaining on me :cool1:

I love that Nicole! Does it work on boys too? LOL

yeah i was just teasing...I think the dis would frown upon posting a nekkid butt. hah

You never know!!:rotfl:

sweet! I'll make a mental note. :thumbsup2

I think that boys are much easier. At least for us mommas. Although Loren tests his dad as much as the girls test me. Maybe it is a testing of the guards? Maybe trying to assert their maturity?

Well that's good to know. I really hope Alex is a mama's boy. I always want him to hug and kiss me :) I'm not sure about how they treat their dad's though. I'll have to ask Chris.

Loren is the first one to jump to my defense or take care of me if I am sick.

I caught an episode of "The New Adventures of Old Christine" this past weekend and her little boy started just staring at her when she said "I love you". It was SO funny, but true.

"New Christine" which is the boy's new stepmom, told "Old Christine" that her family never says "I love you"....they just say "Stay Safe". So Old christine says "Well what do you say when you want someone to stay safe?"
NC: *short thoughtful pause*...."Stay Safe" :rotfl:

At the end of the show, there's a clip where Old Christine brings her son to school again and says "I LOVE YOU!!!" and he says "Stay Safe" and walks away. :lmao:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: you are soooooo funny
