Everyone said what my first thought was. My own mother entered a new relationship less than a year after my dad died. We all hated the guy too and she ended up marrying him. It lasted 4 years! It caused a lot of contention in my family. The fact was that she couldn't stand to be alone. And my mom is a good person ~ she isn't self-centered or inconsiderate at all. She was just grieving. She finally realized Bob was a jerk and divorced him, thank goodness! Now she is remarried to her FIRST husband and we love him! He is the only grampa my kids have.
Wow, I am making my mom sound all soap-opera-y or trailer-parky ~ please believe me, that is not the case.
My mom's "mistake" was the furthest thing from my Dad as possible and that hurt too. I don't think this kind of situation can feel right to Steph in any way. She just needs to hold onto the fact that her dad loved her mom for a very long time and would still be with her today if he could. What is happening in response to her death cannot change that.

Drove Danielle home and it was now about 4ish. Drove to get Scotty, I decided that while I was in Vacaville I should visit Joann's to get the jewels for the tank top that I had yet to find. I decided on a whim after getting those jewels to walk down to Avenue to look for a tank top. I ended up getting a women's size 18-20 red tank top so he is somewhat set for his costume. I just need to sparklefy it. By the time I was done it was about 5:15 when we got home. And this was doing the thankless job of running errands.
