I think what's sad is that we're so used to underage drinking.

People are going to consume alcohol. The thing is, it is easily acessible (although much less so than in our parents teenage years). So the thing is, I think, you have to accept it as a part of society, minimize the possible damage, and hope the parents take care of it.

Yes, of course. But even if I begged those people they wouldn't give me those things. I hang around responsible people who care about their lives and future. Not to mention that they care about me and my well-being.

Ok, maybe in your particular case you couldn't. But if you examine the lives of every teenager in America, most know someone who could and would buy them alcohol in one form or another.

Yeah, I know I sound like some prude. I'm not, really. I'm just getting tired of seeing little pregnant 14 year olds in my mom's office trying to get pregnancy welfare. It's ridiculous the amount of 15/16 year olds that are getting wasted now on a regular basis.

thats just surprising to me. i can call anyone
of my friends right now, and ill be able to have some

It's really not hard here to get hands on booze.
Heck, there's enough around my house I could easily get wasted. I don't though, my parents would notice, etc.
Drugs and alcohol are so easy to get. It's only like a 5 minute walk to the main road near my school, and I could get any drug I'd like... and I'd probably find a few hookers there too.

A lot of underage drinking does go on with the students at my school, but it seem so far that nothing seriously bad has happened. I'm sure it will though, I'm sure it will.
