IMHO this is ridiculous. I LOVE all of these new dreams items BUT i hate the way they're being gave out. I mean all of us camping out in rooms till we see staff and then they come in for 10 min. and leave without giving anybody anything.

To me its ridiculous.

Perhaps it is too hard to give when there are so many ppl in one room. They just started this today, so let's give them a break and let them figure out a good process that will work for the entire month.

Maybe they will start going into personal rooms to make it simple as well.

Yes, i wish they're was a better way. Ive been in a room for over a hour now. And next thing i know staff are in different rooms. like every other room im in..

I wish they made it fair for everybody.

well i will say host phinny came into my room and she gave everyone in the room 3 gifts and stayed for pictures and such but she told us to check our inventory and the items where there maybe you missed them saying it was there

Let's all take a quick minute and remember...at the start of any month many of us do not have the host pin after the first event...but most of us end up with it before the month is over. Here's to hoping it will be the same before the month is over.

I think this way is just fine. You go to WDW and it's the same way, going to a park and waiting for a Dreams Person to stop you can Grant you a Prize

My feeling on this is:
A) The Disney theme parks are doing the same thing...not EVERYONE wins, NOONE KNOWS what the dream team is looking for and only a few win per day.
B)The CHANCE at winning a dreams item is better that NO Host item at ALL
C) It is the FIRST day of a new theme... maybe there will be "Alternitive" ways to get these items like host games and the new card trading game?

I think we just all need to relax and se how it goes.

It has been very chaotic on VMK today. I understand it's only the first day of the month, but it's not like they are unaware of staff stalkers...remember how quickly rooms would fill up when it made known a host was around back when they gave away a bunch of infernos randomly? Now this is being done on a larger scale...this was bound to happen.

Well I don't think it's "stupid," but rather that they may be trying to go along with how the Disney parks are giving out dreams. At the parks, many of the dreams are not awarded randomly, but rather are preset...a specific ride in a specific car at a specific time, for example. Whoever happens to on that ride in that particular car at that particular time is approached by the Dream team. So it may be that VMK is presetting the particulars as to who gets the dreams as well. It would seem to make sense since that is how the parks are handling it and now we're hearing that this host was looking for a particular outfit.

I saw on TV that at the parks, when they give out the real dream prizes the cast members wait for somebody to be doing a certain thing at the right time, like drinking from the right water fountain... Maybe this is how VMK is doing theirs? It would explain why they sometimes go to a room and don't give anything out, because people aren't doing whatever they are supposed to be doing.

I was looking at the Host sightings and realized did you notice there is always someone wearing a dreams shirt? Just wondering maybe thats the "Outfit" they are looking for? I dunno but I'm going to find someone with that shirt to hang with lol

Why can't vmk do the same thing that they did on 4th of july. When you get on and go into a room you get the special pin or hat. Why??
