**This is now the OFFICIAL 24 SEASON 6 Thread**

Am I the only one that thinks there is a reason that there hasn't been a lot of Jack lately, and that's because they are going to kill him off at the end of the season?
If Jack died (permanently), there wouldn't be a 24. I think Keifer got himself a sweet contract where he gets a lot of dough but doesn't have to work as much. I could be wrong.
It also said the finale will be "...unlike anything 24 has shot before..." and that "...the reveal will be worth the wait."
I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't know if I'm going to watch next year. :confused3

Hmm... I thought Miss Pointy's dad was dead.

No, he drove off the cliff, but survived. For a while we thought he was dead, but then they said he wasn't. It was just a brief comment, easy to forget.

Have a magical day!

It was good to see William Devane tonight, I used to love him in Knots Landing. Powers Booth was really good tonight, I think they are trying to make him more likable. I actually liked tonights episode. It was so sad when Morris said "were through" to Chloe, very touching. Ouch, they gave Audrey 100 needles, yikes! but they did cure her of her lip licking!!yeah! I also liked ricky shroeder tonight, he let Jack free. Jack was very sweet when he told Audrey he loved her with all of his heart. This was one of the more emotional episodes I have seen in awhile.

I really, really like William Devane and it was good to see him.

I don't "hate" this season but it is quieter than usual. I agree that the bad guys are kind of wacky, going from one to another. I liked the original terrorist angle but not this Chinese and Russian storyline. I do like the Vice President though. He just oozes evil.

I won't give up on 24, not yet. I expect a big ending this year and then we'll see. As long as Jack and Chloe are still there, I'm still watching. Rick Schroeder's character is pretty good but he's no Jack!

Plonk? :rotfl: :rotfl: Like in him having a cartoon bubble show up over his head?

Now there's an idea - wouldn't it be fun to have a 24 episode done with pop-ups? You know those cartoon-like blips that give out facts about the show, the characters, etc.? Now that would be fun.

Am I the only one that thinks there is a reason that there hasn't been a lot of Jack lately, and that's because they are going to kill him off at the end of the season? I certainly hope not, because if they do, I will never watch the show again, but I can't help think they are grooming Ricky Schroeder to take over. I know Kiefer has recently signed a multi-year contract, but maybe that was just to produce/direct, and not necessarily to star. Just a thought, and like I said, I WILL NOT watch a Jack-less 24. There is really no point.

I read a quote from the exec. producer in yesterday's USA Weekend that "The season finale will be explosive, literally, as we are going out with a very big bang, action- and suspense-wise." It also said the finale will be "...unlike anything 24 has shot before..." and that "...the reveal will be worth the wait."

Nah...I think they're evolving to more of a Batman and Robin type relationship between Jack and the Ricky Schroeder character. If they kill Jack, the whole show falls apart.

As far as the exec. producer goes...thats typical end of season/finale hype. This season has been very wishy-washy, so I hope they pull it together soon for the grand finale.

They are kind of speculating with next weeks previews that something big is going to blow up. I hope its not CTU. how many times can the terrorists get into CTU to do damage? The last time they broke in the put in the nerve gas and killed Edgar. If they do blow up CTU this time, they really need to look at how come its so easy for terrorists to enter the building.

You know, that seemed pointless. I'm glad to see the last character back though. Poor Jack.

Now if the previous 20 hours had been like this....the season may not have been so bad. It was VERY nice to see Jack again!

I think Nadia is such a loser, how come she didnt stand up and say who she was. She has no spine for someone who was supposed to be the director of CTU. Milo should have been the director, at least he was a leader. When they were asking who Nadia was, I was almost expecting Chloe to stand up and say she was Nadia. She is the next one at CTU that needs to go.

I still keep thinking that Jacks nephew is actually his son. Can't wait for next weeks season finale. Audrey has been mighty quiet lately too, wonder if they will bring her back for the last episode.

I was wondering the same about Josh being Jack's son. It seemed to totally set up for that in the beginning, and then that was it. Is that what the grandfather is trying to do, set up to turn Jack's son against Jack. This season just went in so many different directions. The one thing everyone can agree on is NOT ENOUGH JACK!!! Hopefully Ricky Schroeder is still around for next season! I wonder what it was that Nadia said on the phone that tipped him off that CTU was under attack (again).:confused3

that CTU was under attack (again).:confused3

You'd think they'd have sensor (or cameras) in the sewers UNDER the building. Or even a stronger grate. And with the ability they have to see who's doing what on their systems, you'd think they'd be able to tell (and prevent) an hacker from the outside world.

It is pretty sad that the people at CTU who are supposed to be protecting the country, can be so easily broken into, Twice!!!

I thought that he just picked up on how her voice sounded a bit strained, and that he could tell that something was wrong. Some people on the 24 forum think maybe her calling him "Mike" instead of Doyle, or her saying "What do you want me to do?" was some kind of duress code, but I'm not sure.

24 Forums?????? Do share!! :surfweb:

I'm glad to see DH and I aren't the only ones who think Josh may turn out to be Jack's son. He seems pretty cozy with his former sister-in-law.
