**This is now the OFFICIAL 24 SEASON 6 Thread**

I also feel very ambivalent about this season. The first couple of episodes were great, but it's really lost some steam. *yawn*

I assume the previous posts may reflect why there is no discussion from last night's episode. I love 24, but last night was so predictable. It was so obvious that Morris was going to be the engineer that Darren McCarthy was looking for. And who didn't see Jack's father killing his son coming? It was tougher predicitinh who was going to Disneyworld after the Super Bowl.

Actually I was not thinking Morris. I thought for some reason it would end up being Jack. Can someone please explain what the deal is with the Lennox character?? Was really really glad to see the focus of this weeks show back on Jack  instead of Walid and Karen Hayes. Looking forward to 2 hours next week!!! :yay:

Actually I was not thinking Morris.

Everyone knows that you can't do anything to make Jack do something he doesn't want to do. If he was on that other shoe that's in the same timeslot, he would have already captured and killed Sylar, stopped the nuclear guy and tied up all other loose ends :lmao:

Besides, Jack isn't an engineer. He may be able to do simple stuff like switching out a phone's memory card or stopping a bomb (everyonek knows that you snip the red wire), but programming a nuclear device? I don't know.

Yawn. Tired of the Jack-family thing.

Thought last night was kind of boring, honestly.

Another thing that irked me was that they were tranferring a taped phone conversation to check on background sounds to see where the people were. They're CTU! They are supposed to figure out where the call came from and then use their eye in the sky satellite stuff to follow the phone around!

I do wonder if Milo is a bad guy.

Hope next week is better.

My DH also predicted Morris would be the engineer. Now, I actually thought Jack's dad was going to set the brother free, not kill him. :rotfl: I'm very "eh" on this season. I'm not a huge fan of the show and though and have only been watching it with DH. I was really upset at the end of the season premier when they killed Curtis and the "big surprise" was the nuclear bomb.

I thought Jack's father Killing his brother was indeed predictable, I saw that one coming.
Morris on the other hand. THat surprised me. From day one, I had a feeling something bad would happen with Morris I jsut wasn't sure waht. I was hoping he'd be a mole in CTU or something more interesting.
I really hope the season steps up a bit, it still has my interest but It's not as thrilling as it used to be. Hopefully it is just a "slow" start.

Mybe they're just giving us a breather. Next week is another 2 hour episode!!

I have to wonder if we've all just gotten used to the high threshold/pace of 24. Perhaps since we've now acclimated to it by watching the past seasons, we're just not getting the same initial thrill from it as we once did.

It's like drugs. We need a more powerful Jack Bauer!! The old one just doesn't do it for us anymore.

Yep, could be. ::yes::

I'm not liking the link to all the evil in the world stemming from Jack's family. I'm all for irony, but this is farfetched.

couldnt find the thread, Jack dad should have shot him, Jack gonna get him, and you know Jacks nephew is really his son

Whoa. Logan is back?!!?

I don't know if this has always been this way but they say this episode takes place between 3pm and 4pm but the clock (just before the breaks) say 03:XX:XX That's 3am, not 3pm.

Next week is two hours? I missed that.

Can someone tell me what happened with Logan last season?

I thought he looked good with a beard.

I so thought Graehm's wife was going to show up and shoot Jack's father in the back. How did he disappear so quickly? He's not exactly a kid and I doubt he can move that fast.

I did want to comment on something from last week. SOmetimes I think 24 really stretches the believability factor. Morris took major trauma with that torture, especially the drill. Even assuming the drill didn't go through any bone, how does anyone recover that quickly? He's not exactly Claire Bennett

Yaaa HOOOOOOOOOOO! Jean Smart, Mrs. Logan, will be back next week. I can't wait. Loved her character and I hope Aaron is back too. He was such a cutie! :thumbsup2
