Hurricane anxiety is NOT fun! Iraq anxiety and hurricane anxiety=mega-stress!

I really do feel for you and everyone else in your situation. My mom isn't too far from Orlando and I get anxious everytime a new storm threatens. Luckily she has enough sense to go to a shelter if the threat gets too bad.

Not really crazy, just have had more impact in a short span of time this year.
And they haven't even mentioned anything about El Nino. How bad would things be if that was around?

Lest we forget about Afghanistan?
Our son had INCOMING while there and our troops are still there and will remain there and in Iraq for a LONG time to come.

The good news is Jeanne has weakened this morning and one report I read said that historically, hurricanes often peter out when they're over the particular land mass that Jeanne is currently hovering over.

Let's hope this is the case for that gal.

Karl is most likely going to be a "fish spinner", that's about it.

I'm hoping for this also as I am also right in Jeanne's sights here at the GA/SC border. This is from the 5 a.m. discussion at the National Weather Service website. PLEEEEASE let this be true:
