This Is Me Freaking Out!

Hello! THis is what I look like while freaking out!

Our plane taxis down the runway from Hartford in about 11 hours. I am in a state of FRENZY trying to pack everything I own into a bag.....its sickness I have, even with the DVC laundry in room!

Well...where is DH you ask? Well, he had to go TDY to San Antonio this week and HAD to stay an extra day to golf with a buddy...so he is in the Dallas- Fort Worth Airport waiting for his delayed plane! HELLO!! I knew this was a bad idea. So, his plane that was supposed to come into Boston at midnight, will arrive Lord knows when...then he has a two hour drive to our house....then up and at 'em tomorrow am to drive to Hartford!

This was all poorly orchestrated! Two college degrees and a masters between us does not make us smart people!!!

If you see a lone women in the Hartford Airport tomorrow rocking and mumbling to herself, its probably me, cause I told him I am on the plane to FL with or without him!

Breathe, breathe, okay!

I am a total spaz right before any vacation too, especially when it involves an airplane trip. I always worry if I brought enough toys, snacks, etc for the kids on the plane ride. And overpacking?! Don't get me started!!! Don't worry, I'm sure your DH will make it back in time!

Well...good news is, if I have to leave for the airport alone...I'll have to travel light....no way I could lift this bag down two flights of stairs!

Well....off to cram 40 pairs of underwear in my bag

If DH is held up to long in TX is there anyway he can switch to go straight to FL and meet you there? Of course that won't help with the suitcase. Are any of his clothes in there? You could alway unpack his and make him wear the same clothes he brought on the business trip. Would serve him right for messing up plans. Seriously though, would this be doable if he can't get out tonight?

Well....two minor snags with that. His car is parked at Logan....and his current bag he has with him is packed full of his dress blues...... if anyone sees a chubby woman strolling around Epcot with a tall handsome blonde in air force blues - come on over and say hi!

Ugh....update.....his plane took off at 8:51...he lands at Logan at 2 am! I know someone who will be sleeping on the ride to Hartford!

Thanks! I really shouldnt even be on here posting! I am actually about to turn the computer off and head up for Round Three: Convincing myself I will live without every pair of shorts I own!


Maybe I will do a trip report this time.....there should be at least one exciting moment! It's our 10th anniversary and while DH was gone this week, a new credit card statement came with a charge from a jewelry store!
