While I haven't been in any of the new rooms yet, I have had this problem before with various rooms on VMK. First it was Sci-Fi, then it was the Autopia Quest Track, then it was Jungle Cruise (not the lobby, but when the game loaded). Well, Jungle Cruise didn't crash my whole computer, but it messed up the rest of VMK. The other two places did crash my internet and my computer. I think what happens is sometimes your computer simply reads the files wrong; whether it's your computer's fault or a VMK bug, I have no idea. The coding of the room then messes up your computer and makes you have to reboot.
Whenever VMK starts a new theme is probably when it will correct itself. Then all the rooms and games have to reload onto your computer because the server's had something done to it (at least, that's my best guess). If you don't have dial-up, you probably won't notice it as much or at all, but if you do, you'll notice it takes forever to get in the game and then a long time to load each room when a new month starts.
