Thank you Roy!!!:cheer2:

Pretty cool, good to see that Roy is still looking good for his age.

huh? Roy wasnt nice to someone?
Is there a back story? I was just happy to get the picture:)

Roy was not happy about some of the decisions Michael Eisner made and lobbied Twice to have him voted off the board.

When it didn't happen Roy and another board member resigned in protest. They posted a web site and continued to work for Michael Eisner's demise.

They thought among many bad decisions for WDW and DL that Michael was buying way to many other companies more than the Disney Co. could Keep afloat.

The Final thing was that Eisner had gotten himself a gigantic salary that was bankrupting the company. While Eisner ignored the parks letting repainting repairs go till Disney Veteran thought the polish of magic was suffering too much.

Roy Disney is a very nice guy. I had the opportunity to spend some time with him when I interviewed him for some electronic media to promote the True-Life Adventure DVD series Disney released in 2006. Walt Disney created some of the first nature documentaries (finally released on DVD from the old films) and they were actually an influence in his creation of the park on Harbor we all love.

I thought it was great when he stood up against Eisner. Losing that guy was the best thing to happen to WDC in awhile. Good for Roy, good for all of us.

Roy's dad and his uncle of course, are the ones who got it all started. It is neat to think he is related so closely to them both, you can see it in his genuine Disney face.

I don't see this as Roy being rude or not nice. This was simply him trying the best he could to protect the company that he loves and that his uncle built.

I'm glad he did it. I was happy to see Micheal go.

WOW. I had no idea. Well, good, Eisner dont let the door hit ya, where the Good Lord split ya!! what an ****!!
And I agree, good for all of us. I was just telling DF that if it wasnt for Walt and the Disney Family, we wouldnt be able to have our wedding at Disneyland. Or go to Disneyland atleast once a week. I feel very fortunate. Maybe Micheal Eisner is the reason why the food in Dland Park isnt great, lol.Thank you for the back story!
