This is just a shot in the dark!!!!

I would like to do this because my DGF and I have been together for 26 years now(she is 20 years younger and every room has Disney in it) and talk about a Disney freak, she may be at the top of the list,
but if you ever get in the UK and want a meal that will surpass any expectation you may have, go to Gordon Ramsay At Claridges. You would have a hard time finding any better.

Jack

Gordon Ramsay as in Hell's Kitchen Gordon Ramsay? I love that show, he kills me!!!!! :lmao:

Seriously...sillier things on there have worked out!

I think there's a clause in their agreement that doesn't let them do that. I've read about getting into club33 by auction (like for charity) and members came in to say that even that was against the rules...

There was a time, under prior management, when auctions might slip under the radar, and, if discovered, might be overlooked, however if one was to do so now the member could/should lose their membership. Heck, the memberships aren't even transferable to spouse/partner/family member when the member passes away!

Thanks for the confirmation of my vague memory! :)

Same person, you would not beleive the food and service.

Jack

If your in LA you should try London it is amazing too! It was were one of the Hell's Kitchen winners went after they won.

I have to say while I am so excited that I got to go and eat at Club 33, I am still so sad at how bad the entree was :( Dh and I are still so sad we didn't send it back and eat more buffet (which was not bad).

I agree check out the Disney events my friends did an amazing Haunted Mansion one a few years back and was able to do dinner at Club 33 as part of the event. They had a blast!!!

I was also able to get in thanks to my Mom's work. After a certain anniversary they allow you to go. It is a big deal and very limited but fun. To be honest she never knew it was even an option until she hard about it from another employee, and then we had to wait three years before she could do it, so it is something to really check out.

Same as some PP-
I work for a company that has a membership and
we can celebrate 25yr and up service anniversaries and retirement there.
I have 22 years this Sep..
so guess where I am going for my 25th service anniversary in
Sep 2012...:cool1:

Only drawback on the scenario is I HAVE to attend with
a manager from my department-
at this moment there aren't any that I would enjoy being my
lunch date @ Club 33... lol I can only spend Somewhere around
$200 on the company; so that would limit how many guests I could invite without having to pay.
Obviously I would bring my 2 kids and then ditch the
manager after lunch/dinner... lmao:rotfl:

Hopefully we'll get some new management in the next 3yrs
I wouldn't mind hosting the event for me.

Good luck finding your way in OP!:flower3:

Oh man....the way he runs HK I can only imagine the service, I bet it's amazing!! And the food.....I seriously can't imagine it....LOL I want to, I just can't. LOL wow, how cool!!!!! I love that guy! :)

Not true if the membership is willed in the correct way.

Note to self: Become really really really good friends with Bread&Butterflies in the next 3 years. ;)

Note to Bread&Butterflies: Pick ONE and vow to form an enjoyable relationship over the next 3 years. :rotfl:

TOTALLY joking on the above 2 points (just in case anyone didn't get that).

P.S. - makes note to send roses to bread&butterflies this afternoon -

Wonder if you work at the same company as my Mom :rotfl:

They had the same rules. The manager was nice enough, she came with her daughter to the park and then came up alone with our family and my Mom's friend for lunch. Thank goodness my Mom likes her or it might have been VERY weird. After lunch though the manager went back off with her daughter and we went our own way. The bad part is that $200 doesn't get you very far at Club 33 so it was certainly my Mom's most expensive anniversaries but it was a fun experience.

I bet the PP would like to know the correct way...

OH! I was not being evasive there. I am not a lawyer and I would not want to state how to legally will something, but if it is done properly, it is inheritable (which is different than transferable).

I was with my company for 18 years before I found out that I could get into Club 33. They do not have any restrictions on how many times you can go which is pretty cool. We have been twice, but I think we want to go again without the kids. =) It is really hard for me to pay over $50 for Mickey head pasta.

lol DisneyDreams :lmao:

You can never have too many friends. Especially others that  Disney!

One of the managers we've been trying to get fired- have labor charges against her etc... so she is definitely not the One... lol

And excuse me- but I am still waiting for those roses :flower3:
but Tulips would be nice too... ;)

Pm me and I'll let you know ;)

Yes it could be VERY weird if the only choice was someone you didn't like.Glad your mom had a good manager to invite. I'd deal with a bad manager tho just for the experience if I had too. I imagine it will cost me a bundle and the $200 -ish budget better not go towards the managers meal;)

You crack me up!
If you can't find something fun here on Disneyland DIS Boards, sigh. Glad I could pass some laughs.... but.... are you saying you don't think Bread&Butterflies will be my friend? ... oh, AND take me to Club 33 in 3 years?

:)

I COMPLETELY agree.

Uh, yeah, no, she is not the one that we - err, I mean you - want to have to hang with at your celebration!

And excuse me- but I am still waiting for those roses :flower3: but Tulips would be nice too... ;)
What happened to that delivery boy??? You can't trust anyone to do anything these days!
