I'm going to do this!
My name is Christi and I've been dealing with my weight issue all of my life. I am happily married (8 years), I am 33 years old and I have two children ages 4 and 2. After giving birth 2 years ago, I joined WW and lost a total of 42 pounds (baby weight and what I call "extra Christi weight" combined). Was I thrilled! I even made lifetime. I was so proud of myself and LOVED being at the weight that I was.
However, over the last year I've gained back nearly 25 pounds and am at an all time low point in my life in terms of self esteem. I'm struggling big time as I simply see the scale move up and up. I honestly don't know what happened.
So, after reading a bunch of your wonderful journals and lurking on the WISH board, I'm realizing that journaling here just might be what I need to do for my self to be accountable for my actions.
So, I'll start today in stating my goals and what my daily requirements are:
1. Daily bible reading and devotion usually at bedtime.
2. Drink LOTS of water (at least 2 blue sippers full)
3. Write down everything I eat
4. Limit my sugars daily (meaning healthy eating)
5. Exercise at least 20 minutes at least 5 days a week
My weigh in days will be on Wednesday mornings and I'll do a measurement of my body at the start of each month.
My devotion: I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me.
I need help and know that I can't do this alone!!!!!
