This is getting ridiculous!

When I was at the Contemporary in October I was talking to a managers in the food court about the Mouse Mud they pawn off as coffee. He was aware that the vacationers did not like the Mouse Mud and that they had 2 more years of the contract to Nescafe.....he also said that it was a syrup that went into the machines.........sort of instant I guess. Yucky yucky yucky.

The only good coffee we had last week at WDW was at Chef Mickey's...maybe they know we parents need to wake up quickly to prepare for giant mice in our face?
I'm with the DVC poster-- we get our first cup at "home" to get us through the day...

Hmmmmm, some friends of ours were at the Canadian pavillion in Epcot a few months ago and heard from a CM there that there may be Tim Hortons coffee there sometime in the future. No definite plans, but boy, that would be nice! :)

This is funny because there was a thread about WDW coffee last October right before we went. I printed it out and brought it with me. There are some places left at WDW to get real coffee. At MGM, what used to be the "Ellen" bookstore over by the Muppet 3-D has real coffee. You can get presspots at Boma...yummy! The better restaurants seem to still serve the real stuff.
Try Morocco at Epcot for REAL coffee...the thick Turkish stuff. I wish I had the link to that thread!!

I just wanted to put in my two cents, and agree that the coffee at WDW is lousy. We were at the ASMu in October, and after the first two morning of drinking this coffee I switched over to Cokes, because I had to get Caffeine somehow. I'm actually glad to hear that it is bad all thru WDW - I thought that maybe it was just nasty at the value resorts. You know like Value-Coffee. I don't remember it being bad in 2001 when we stayed at AKL.

Kona Cafe has good coffee, also.

Also, I noticed at MGM on our last trip that the store there on the corner of hollywood and sunset has a new line of Disney Coffee and Hot chocolates. I didn't try it, but we bought a package as a gift. I imagine that it is good.

;) The Disney hot chocolates are excellent! We just got back from a 6 day tour. We were given samples at the market place, at the gourmet pantry, and after sampling a mix of belgium white chocolate and chocolate chocolate, we purchased the 4 can assortment. Very good!
