This is a strange question....

We have dinner planned at CRT and I know that it comes with a photo package with Cinderella. We have 2 boys who may be excited to eat in the castle but may not be all that excited about cinderella.

I was thinking that it would be nice for the photo package to be a family picture without Cinderella. Does anyone know if this is allowed? Would it be rude to request Cindy out of the picture?

I am sure you could ask but personally I think it is a but rude - it is her castle after all. We have 3 children (2 boys and a girl). Our boys jsut don't get in the picture.

If your boys don't want in I would do a ladies picture. The princesses of the family.

Personally, yes, I think that would be rude. I have boys, also, and we have gotten our picture taken as a family with Cinderella and it has always turned out great. I'm not even sure where Cinderella would go if you asked her not to be a part of the photo, I guess she could step off to the side, but that does seem like it would be odd for her. I would skip the photo altogether or just have you and your husband in it, if the boys won't do it.

That would be me! :rotfl: All boys in this house.

I though it rude as well but doesn't hurt to ask here on the boards.

We have gone 2 times to CRT and my two boys love it. Both times they have gotten their picture taken with Cindy. I think they like being surrounded by the lovely ladies. I do remember one time them asking if we all wanted to be in the picture. But we said no because the boys looked so cute with Cindy. Enjoy.:wizard:

I don't think it would be very nice. :sad2:
You are dining in her castle. :confused3 Would it be so terribly uncomfortable for them to pose for 15 seconds with her?

If you could con/bribe/beg them into it, I can't imagine anything cuter than a picture of both of your boys on either side of Cinderella, maybe leaning in to kiss her on the cheek?

I think I'd have that picture on my dresser FOREVER as a mom.

(And I'm with the majority...Cindy's feelings would be hurt...inviting you to dinner and then you ask her out of the picture).

One alternative if you really don't want the picture is to offer it up for another family in front of or behind you. In many cases, people have more than one daughter, etc. and it would be a truly wonderful bit of magic to gift away!

Have a fun dinner, though!

Love this idea, thanks! :goodvibes

if you want a picture of just the family go to 1900 Park Fare. It's just a family pic - no characters.

nice backdrop.

psst.... the characters are not real, they are just actors playing a role.

I think it would be hysterical to tell Cinderella to move out of the picture.:worship: Who does she think she is anyways?

I can't possible imagine anyone's feelings being hurt if you just want your family in the picture. You're the one paying for it after all.

I couldn't agree more. For someone to say "Cindy" might be upset b/c it's rude to do that in her is insane!!! I love PP that said she's an actor playing a role! Who has ever called Cinderella "Cindy"? I've seen the movie dozens of times and read the book and I've never witnessed a reference to "Cindy".

If I ask "Walty" not to be in my picture, is that rude? I mean, it is "Walty" Disney World and all. Sorry to be so snarky but I think this thread borders on the ridiculous. I say if you don't want someone in your picture and you're paying for it, that's your right!!!

This thread is hilarious! I LOVE IT! Good for you for wanting Cinderella to step aside! :lmao:

I'm with the crowd who says get your picture your way! I think it will be a bit awkward (and funny...:rotfl2:) to ask that Cinderella not be in the picture...but as others have said: you've paid for it and she's not actually Cinderella. She didn't invite you to dinner, and she's an adult. She'll understand. I say endure the brief moment of awkwardness and get the picture you want!

And, please come back and post the picture and tell us all the story...because it will be a good one! :goodvibes

Heretic!

I'm sure you're going to also try to tell me that that isn't really Santa Claus I take my kids to see at the local mall!
