.... to see which will happen first. My tipping a scale at a weight lower than 200 pounds, or competing a half-marathon in a time less than 2:00.

My PR on the half, from last August, was 2:11:06. My past several training runs have been at sub-9 pace, now up to 5 miles sustaining that pace. My last weigh in came in at 204.5, the first time in years I've been below the 205 mark.

I can feel myself within striking distance of either milestone, just now a question of which happens first. Either way I win :)

Congrats on both the weight loss and the times. I am sure you will hit both your goals very soon.
 
Congrats on what you've accomplished and good luck on reaching your next goal. I'm also looking to go sub-2:00 for a half. It's sort of a neat goal!

Oooh, 4 1/2 weeks to lose 4 1/2 lbs. I think this competition is going to be close. Good luck.
 
Good luck! Follow a Weight watchers plan if you can and fill up with veggies and you should be okay. I actually lost weight marathon weekend, even with the crap I ate after the race.

FYI - I had my WW meeting at lunch and lost another 3 lbs this past week! Woohoo! (I won't post that on FB, so I thought I'd post it here)

Over my ten days in WDW, I dropped roughly 7-9 pounds. All that walking makes a difference.
