Can you have a Magic Kingdom bridal shoot if you did not have a fairytale wedding. I would think the answer would be "no" but I wanted to see if anyone knew for sure. We were planning a FTW but everything is becoming very complicated so we were thinking of just eloping and having our disney honeymoon. Thanks in advance.

Only DFTW couples can have the MK photo shoot in bridal attire. You can do the honeymoon shoot in MK in 'normal' clothes during park hours. Its not the same, but you'll still get some nice pictures!

yep, hmgolden is right.

only disney wedding couples can have the bridal portraits at mk & epcot in bridal attire.

but thats a good suggestion on the honeymoon portraits in regular clothes.

why not elope at an intimate wedding at WDW. It isn't that bad relatively speaking if you do the add on. Then you can have the MK photo shoot!!!!!

My fiance and I are having a Disney Honeymoon and will have a Disney photographer for a couple of hours to take pictures of us in the park. We can't be in our wedding attire, but hey, we get pictures in the castle garden! I'm really excited about it. princess:

I agree with doing the Honeymoon picture package.

My husband and I had our Honeymoon at WDW 10 years ago and we did the pictures all around the MK park.

The photographer was so willing to work with us on our shots. We took pictures at the back of the castle on the balcony, in the garden in front of the castle, in front of our fave rides, etc.

These pictures have been a wonderful reminder of our honeymoon and we still love looking at them today!

We loved them so much that we are going to do them again during our Vow Renewal at WDW in December.

Have Fun! Lisa

Thanks for all the suggestions. We are still decideing what we want to do. The prob is we have a huge 2 week trip planned to Disney for Sept and we are newly enagaged so we thought maybe that could be our honeymoon since I have been planning for a year and spent a ridiculus amount of money already. We are thinking of having an intimate but aren't sure if the dates are available ... or even if there is enough time for us to comfortably plan this. I dont know if we should just go for it or wait til next year and make sure everything is planned to the T :sad2:

I had an intimate add-on and they are easy to plan in a short time period. Disney has done so many of them that they know what they are doing. If yuo want to go for it for September, I'd give them a call and see what is available.

We are planning ours for July...and only decided last week. So if that can be done so can September!
