OK, I admit it. I'm a hopeless foodie.
I look forward to going out of town JUST so I can eat favorite foods that I can't get locally. With our budget the way it is I can't justify spending the money on restaurants these days...well, ok the gourmet McDonalds $1 stuff we sometimes splurge on. LOL

Several years ago at WDW I discovered the deep fried green beans with sweet chili sauce. To. Die. For.
Then other restaurants begin to have them on their menus but dang, paying $7-10 for them just bummed me out.
I started watching for them in the freezer section at the grocery stores.

FINALLY FOUND THEM and on sale no less.
Target has them right now for $2.50 per box. It seems to be slightly more in a box than a restaurant serving so that's great as well.
The best part is they taste EXACTLY like the ones you get at a restaurant. (and an additional discovery is that they're even better reheated!) LOL LOL

If anyone is looking for these dang things check out Target!

Are they similar to the fried bean appetizer at TGIFridays?

I haven't had them there but I would assume so. I've had them at 3 different restaurants and they've ALL tasted exactly alike. The only thing different is the dipping sauce each place serves with them. I like the sweet chili sauce. Not so fond of that chiplote gunk. LOL

The beans at Target say something about them having an "onion flavored coating". Never noticed any onion flavor.

Our grocery stores sell the TGIF Brand and we have also made the Paula Dean recipe that are very delish:goodvibes

Do the Schwans and the TGIF brands taste like the ones at Yak and Yeti?
The cucumber wasabi dip sounds delicious!

Wassaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaabi. Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL LOL
