Has anyone seen this documentary?
We just watched it Friday evening, and it was really interesting and funny.
It investigates the MPAA ratings system in Hollywood, revealing its biases toward the studios and against independent films and questioning why sexuality gets stricter ratings than violence. But the best part is the director hiring a private investigator to find out who the raters are (the whole process is done in secret).
I understand the need for a ratings system, but I do agree that the process shouldn't be done in secret since it effects the lives of so many Americans.
Anyway, it's really a fantastic film, if you like documentaries.
