The vet only scanned him for a microchip, he didn't examine him. I can't tell if he is neutered or not. Is there a way to tell just by looking (we only have girl dogs)? He's definitely young. I'm going to guess a year or two old.

So do I. Thought I recognized a few things from the pics! I guess he was around here too................so glad he wasn't that devil dog..........when I first saw the pic, and I thought about it that's what I got, but like I said, different dog..............

Yeah, you can tell, if there are no "beans" in the very, very back...............you may even have to feel (can't believe I'm saying that!).

Ummmm, well if you look at him from behind and you see the 2 dangly bits, he's not neutered. .......btw, Sparky seems very fitting!

He looks a lot like my aunt-in-law's rat terrier too. However, hers is a pretty sweet dog, nothing like the terror someone else described. Good luck finding him a home.

there is a dog on there that is missing from texas that kinda looks like him.. ( is he is JRT?) I dont think he is the same dog but you never know.....

I'm not sure where this is in Texas compared to you and it's been a while since this dog disappeared but someone else might have kept him for a while and he ran off? I dunno. Thought it might be worth a try.

Okay, this is really ironic. I googled the location in that ad - Atascocita South and this article came up about dogs being stolen for PitBull fighting bait - and the title was about a Rat Terrier being taken named Cody.

From what has been described I have to assume he is not neutered.

Tigger1... that dog looks a LOT like this one! I had to really look closely, but it isn't the same. Sparky has more white on his face and bigger ears. Thanks!

I didn't realize how far away that was from you, but do check it out. If it's true that people were stealing dogs in that area, there is no telling how far away their dogs ended up.
