Bomb diggity? Thats probably what you are thinking. But I had no other words to describe how I feel about my upcoming trip to Disney world.
Im Ty, and I will be celebrating yet another birthday at Disney. When? December 3-10. Where am I staying? Pop Century. Am I going on the dining plan? I dont know yet, depends if Disney extends their free dining like they did last year. That would be the bomb diggity!
So more about me, heheheh

I am turning 39 this December. I have celebrated my 37th and 38th birthday at Disney. Its becoming the norm.
I have 2 kids, my DS is 18 and graduating this year, he is joining the Coast Guard this summer.
My DD is a sophomore in HS right now and will be turning 16 this summer.
I roughly have 2 years left before my house is empty of kids.
I work at Bed, Bath and Beyond as a customer service associate, or we can be honest and say I am a glorified cashier.
I love scrap booking, reading, music and anything or anybody that can make me laugh. I love to laugh.
Originally I was planning a trip to Disney with my DH this September, he finally agreed to give it another try, his first trip was in April 06 and he didnt do so well, he had several hubby melt downs, but he is older now, a little more wiser and his mind has opened up a bit more, so why not try it again?
Well I had an injury last July, I fell of a ladder at work and broke my tibia and my fibula plus tore my ACL and some other things, I am still having trouble. I went ahead and did my Disney trip last December and my leg gave me all kinds of trouble,

No that's not a turkey leg, it's my leg.
and now that I am still having pain and the Dr. thinking I would need surgery we pushed our trip back a year.
I couldnt wait that long for Disney so I made plans to go this January, DH cant go in the winter at all because of his trap line, so I invited a friend to go.
She really wants to go for her birthday which is in December, so for the 3rd year in a row I am going in December. I dont mind December at all, its a great time to go.
I have since found out that I do not need surgery on the ligaments, just surgery to remove scar tissue at the most, I will heal so much faster, Dh and I could have done Disney this Sept after all but we decided to keep things the way they are, yay! for me, I get 2 trips out of it.
So who is going with me?
Laura, whom I will refer to as Lo.

Lo made her first trip to Disney world this past April, she went over Easter Weekend, the brave soul! But she had a great time, she was able to do everything on her familys list plus some just by utilizing the fast pass system. (I taught her well)
Lo is a mommy of 5. Which also means shes a chef, maid, chauffer, counselor and activities coordinator.
Mommys only vacations should be written into a contract for us, especially her.
We have taken one vacation together, a few years ago we took a trip to Mi. for my brothers wedding. It was a fun time.

The bachelorette party. I don't remember much from that night, but I was told we had a great time. I do remember going to Mcdonalds after the party but don't know how I got french fries in my shoes. Some things need to remain a mystery, it's what keeps life so fascinating.
Lo and I had planned a Disney trip together a few years ago, but when it came down to it she just couldnt see going to Disney for the first time without her family, she was willing to try though, but when I heard her kids talk about Disney and saw the look on Los face, I knew she would have more fun if her first time was with her kids and not me. So we decided to post pone our trip for a few years down the road.
I in the mean time took a trip with my mom, her friend and my long lost BFF of 20 years that I found on my space. (link to that TR is in my siggie below)
And that brings us to now. Not quite 6 months out, I really wanted to wait until 4 months out to start a PTR but that's just me being unrealistic. wait till 4 months, cha!
Lo and I haven't sat down and seriously started planning, We have only gotten as far as booking the package and purchasing our MVMCP tickets. Each of us have a kid graduating so we will start our serious planning mid June once all the grad parties and family leaves town.
As you know, since I have already mentioned it, we are doing MVMCP, we will do that on the 5th of Dec, which is also Lo's birthday. I am not sure which park I want to spend my birthday at, I have celebrated it at MK and Epcot already I am thinking Epcot again, I love Epcot!
We do not have the dining plan, we are hoping for free dining, Disney surprised us all when they extended the dates last year, I pray for a repeat, if not we will be paying oop for our meals, we do not plan to have many TS meals, we don't want to be held down by ADR's, so as of right now we are planning 2 TS meals for our birthdays. Lo said to surprise her and book something she would like.
I'm not sure where I want to eat for my birthday, maybe T-Rex at down town Disney.
We had planned to not get the park hoppers, but are serioulsy reconsidering that idea. How are we supposed to have a bomb diggity trip if we don't park hop?
That's our plans and non plans for now. but I will update, even if all I have for my update is senseless drivel.
