This Darn Snow.

Sending lots of warm sunshine from San Juan - we got here safe and sound last night and heard about all the storms and cancellations - glad we got out Friday and I really hope all the March break travellers get out safe and sound!

See you in a week and I hope the sunshine gets rid of all that snow you are getting.

Looks like we're on the same flight. What time are you heading out to the airport? We're dropping off the kids at my parent's in Mississauga around 10 and will go from there.

What do you mean your dropping off the kids?:thumbsup2

We're in Mississauga will drop the dog off at my cousins around 10, do a little shopping on the US side. Probably hit the Airport around 4:00 PM.

See you on the flight.
I'll be the guy in shorts with blue crocs, the DW & 2 DD's 9 & 13. My youngest will either be entertaining everybody :cheer2: or her nose will be buried in he Nintendo DS.

Just out of curiosity did anyone else hear and see the thunder and lightning this afternoon?:scared1:
I have never seen that during a snowstorm before!

We did hear the thunder. DS & DD were outside playing and came running in. DS was in tears.

Unless something major happens, all buffalo bound travellers should have no problems tomarrow. I live in Fort Erie and the plows have been out all day. We have been getting hit hard but they are keeping up with it. DH & DS went to local hockey game tonight without any problems.

Hope everyone has a wonderful trip, while the rest of us dig out from all that snow, snow, snow! :sunny:

Count me in as another person who's tired of the snow. It's really tedious to shovel because it's already piled so high against our driveway. There's just no where left to put it.

I saw that on Friday night when I was going home. I'd never experienced that before either.

Thanks to a credit we had that was expiring in April - and our DVC - we managed to plan a short trip without the kids (don't feel bad for them - we had our family trip last month). They will be spoiled rotten by the time we get back.
We'll be coming home late Wednesday night.
We'll be the very relaxed looking couple with the A boarding passes. Have a great trip!

We fly out of Buffalo early tomorrow evening, Sunday Mar 9.
Checked BUF website today so far Southwest has had no cancellations, just a few minor delays. Just printed out our boarding passes.

Snow is supposed to stop around 2:00 am. The ploughs will be out all night and I'm sure by the time we leave tomorrow morning the roads will be great.

Hey Ham Ham...............have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to all of you who are flying out. And enjoy your trips :cool1: :rotfl2:

I just wish I could go with you so I won't have to shovel anymore. :sad2:

Wow sounds and looks pretty bad out east. It is spring like conditions here in Calgary with 12c today and tomorrow. Hope all the travellers make it safely! :thumbsup2

I just spent the last 2 hours doing my own and my neighbours driveways. We got at least 16 inches of snow but as I look out the window, the sun is shining. I hope everyone gets their travel plans under way and have no more interuptions

Our little Town of Paris was on The Weather Network this morning, for the weather quiz. We got 45 cm of snow. :scared1: This does not usually happen to us. Everyone around us got about 30. The snow banks are huge, we have no more room it put the snow!! I am begging mother nature to please bring on spring.

You should send some of the snow this way. My older son has been looking forward to snow all winter, and we've had very little of it. Not enough to build a snowman. So if you can, send some of the white stuff this way please! And I live in Richmond, not in some warm place!:rolleyes1

You can gladly have ALL Of the 5 ft snowbanks bordering our driveway. Who am I not to share? :rotfl2:
