I am an avid drinker of the Coke product :TAB. Is this something I might be able to find in WDW or in a local store? I know the stuff is bad for me, but it is my java in the A.M. :p

I was amazed to see that particular Coke product at Wal*Mart in Kissimmee. I thought they had stopped making it. :)

I will need to find it on our arrival. We will be going to IOA on our first day. Will I by-pass this Walmart?

That depends on how you're going to IOA....but I doubt it.

Walmart is down 192 about seven, 8 miles from the 192 Entrance to Disney. If you're coming from the West, you'll be close. If you're coming from the east (from RT 95, from the airport, etc), you're not coming west far enough unless you make a special trip.

Letfuller,
Perhaps you can call this number and they can help you out.

1-800-GET-COKE

Please, let me know how you do.

Is TAB a newly re-released product? I remember it from years ago but didn't know they still made it. How is it different from diet coke? Just curious...

I just have to add that the phone number cracks me up...It's like you're so desperate you just have to get it NOW...if that makes sense. I think it's just too funny and I hope you find it!! I doubt you can get it in the park, but I'm sure Wal-Mart or Publix will have it, the number will probably be able to tell you the closest place to your hotel.

Nope, they have continued to make this product since 1963. It has a flavor all it's own and in no way compares to diet coke.
I tried it once and knew immediately it was not the drink for me.
Sort of like a softened Moxie (which is abysmal, IMHO).
I also do not drink any diet soda, I go for the real sugar (besides that fake stuff raises he** with my stomach). But, to each their own and I just wanted to help if I could.

It is for other products as well, but, it is sort of cute.

So glad to hear of another Tab drinker. I've been hooked on the stuff for years. Everywhere I go with a can in hand, someone will comment, "I didn't know they still made the stuff!"
I met someone who was a big muckety muck with Coca Cola once. He told me that he thought they would always make Tab. They put absolutely no money into advertising or marketing the product, but still have very steady (though obviously not enormous) sales. Said that Tab drinkers are the most loyal of all of the products they sell. True for me!
Anyhow, I've never been able to find it on property. Good luck!

I think I have loved Tab for ever. It is not good for me, but neither is coffee or other drinks. Good to hear that Coke realizes that it is a product with followers. Looks like we will be in the parks at the same time, Piglette. Have a great trip!!!1

I am a Tab lover too. I have a whole group of friends here and we all drink it. It has a flavor (and it DOES have a flavor) all its own and you get used to drinking it and its hard to drink other sodas after that. It is usually only found at grocery stores though and hardly ever at convenience stores or machines, etc. Never in restaurants! So I guess I will be looking for a grocery store when I'm there in July before we 'settle in' at the Yacht Club!

I believe this was the FIRST DIET soda introduced in 1963. I remember seeing lots of Ad's for it too.;) Publix DOES Stock it, in the 6 pack Cans ONLY!;)

TAB, does the body goo! As far as I know of, TAB in Orlando should not be hard to find with all the gas stations & such that carry it. Couple of days ago I managed (somehow) to get lost in Orlando. Stopped at a gas station to get my bearings & a tab... before I knew it I was back on track!

Wow, I am not the only one still buying it!!!!! Does anyone know wher I can get a good supply inexpensively. The only place I have found it is in my local supermarket by the 6-pack for $3.99. :earseek:

I have never seen TAB at Disney, but I do see it all the time at my local Target Greatland store. The sell it by the case and 6-pack. Sorry--don't know the prices though!
