Does anyone know if something big is going on this coming weekend (May 16-19)??

My cousin can't find a hotel room, everything is booked!

There's a convention, but I don't know if that is big enough of one to affect it. Could be just that he's trying to book it last minute? Or people are coming for an early memorial day weekend trip to book the trip.

im going this weekend too on friday for 9 nights, i did notice to that a lot of hotels are booked up, but i went on to hotels.com and there was still a bunch of places with rooms left. i seen there is some sort of convention in town, but nothing major.
