Third week in August, what discount do you think will be available?

I am thinking when and (IF) Disney releases Free Dining for August/September that it may start on the 25th. And if so, does that mean that the 15th-24th will not have some sort of discount? Or, do you think it might actually start on the 15th?

It looks like the discounts have been continuous but that particular week will likely only be a room discount and not a dining discount. It also won't be available until May so an announcement likely will appear here in mid to late April.

We are headed to POR for Aug 18-24.... would love SOME kind of discount!!!! Fingers are crossed! I budgeted for the whole cost but love the rush of saving money!!!

17-25th here and we are booked and going 1 way or another, but are REALLY hoping for FD.

Here's my thoughts. The last two weeks of August are slower than the rest of the summer. Soooo the discounts would have to be at least as good, probably better, than what they are releasing for the beginning of the summer. Does this logic make sense?

I have heard talk of NO FD, this summer. Not sure if it is the new AoA /New Fantasy land, are the reasons....
FD never works for my small 2 member family, % off is much better for our vacations. SO much food and we never take advantage of all that food. lol.

I do hope for those who need or want the FD, that is does work out for you.

Still kicking myself for not booking that last year when we went. We didn't think we were coming back until 2014. I'll be putting a deposit down on a BB for next year regardless of when it is knowing that I can cancel it if it doesn't work out.
