So this is what I was working on last night when we couldn't get on the boards, but I haven't been home all day to post it.
When the wound doctor was seeing Fran, he mentioned that this is not a recent injury. She was like, "well, I had it last October"

however, at some point after the last October thing, I realized that when she was initially getting her knees worked on she was supposed to have the first one done on the left, but she developed this huge rash. This was in July of 2010.
And this is her at the knee surgeons office
So evidently she has some sort of vasular problem in her leg that the blood does not flow properly. I'm trying not to show any really gory pictures, but this is how she came home from the hospital, she was all set up to be hooked up to the wound vac, and they had her on one in the hospital before they let her go home.
However, look at how deeply they dug the tube into her leg, THAT was the thing that hurt her, not necessarily the actual surgery. Now she has a sore where the tube was dug in. Ugh!
So this is Fran at the wound clinic after they set her up with the vac (Hector).
And this is her and Hector at home. Notice the little black cat...that's Pepper, she really likes to follow the discharge through the tube, it's like bugs or other moving things that she can chase!
