So I have decided to get an AP for my upcoming trip rather than buying 14 days worth of park tickets. I have already called to get the AP discount on the room (14 days at GF outer building lagoon view), and was told I just needed to have the AP before I arrived so it didnt revert to rack rate. I was looking at the options through my employers discount site, and I noticed with a partnership through "Tickets at Work" they offer discounts on WDW annual passes.

Basically the option is:
A. buy direct from Disney at $5091 (4xAP+tax)
B. buy from work site for $4662 (4xAP+tax) and get enough reward points from the site for 3x $50 gift cards as well

My question is around any issues with buying the APs via this third party site vs direct. The obvious one would be with any issues around purchase having to work through the site and not Disney. Anyone out there done this before, and have any advise on whether the savings is worth any hassles experienced?

1. Sorry, that is NOT a requirement.
Resort price will NOT "revert to rack rate" unless you do not obtain/activate the AP (at all) during your trip.
2. OK.
3. I pick "B."
4. None that I would anticipate.

thanks. The ticket guide in your sig is very helpful.

I thought Tickets at Work was a great deal until I went to checkout and saw fees. Have you gone that far into the process?

This. Get to the end and make sure it's still a deal. Also check Sams. Not sure if they are still holding on to some of the old AP pricing like they did this time last year.

4662 price was right at the end of checkout. I took it all the way to the "purchase" button. bonus day is tomorrow so when I go to buy I will let you know if it changes.

wow, you weren't kidding. I apparently had 1 more screen to get to. $395 worth of taxes and fees. total price is $4989. still cheaper than direct, but less enticing. still saving just over $100.

On regular tickets, we barely saved anything. Tricky!!
