Third Interview clothing advice?

I have a third interview for a new job this week. What do I wear? I own 2 suits, wore them to the 1st and 2nd interview. Would a nice pair of dress pants and a crisp blouse or a nice twin set be ok? Do I need to buy a 3rd suit? OK to wear the 1st suit again? It is a fairly professional environment and I was hoping to get a glimpse of what other women wear day to day in the office but there weren't any there. I am about 90% sure I will be offered a position. I have a friend that works there and he said that the interview process normally takes about 3 months, my 3rd interview will be about 2 weeks after my 1st. I am a fashion misfit so HELP!!! My current job is very casual, khakis and a collard shirt so that is mostly my wardrobe for now.

I work in HR, I would wear the first suit with maybe a different blouse.

Wear the first suit and go splurge on a really nice scarf to dress it up and make it look different. A classic black suit is a great thing to own because you can change it up so many ways.

Slacks are really not dressy enough if it's a business dress code unless you have a matching or complementary blazer with them and a dressy blouse.

Whatever you've done in the past keep on doing it. Your 3rd interview might be with higher ups you'd be reporting to on the job so its probably not the time to dress down. I agree with Mary Anne, first suit with a different top, maybe even different accessories and different shoes, if you have them. I would not buy a new suit before you have the new job, but it sounds really promising... lots of luck

I had to buy the 2nd suit already so I am glad to hear that wearing the 1st is ok . I have to take DD to the mall so she can pick out her school picture shirt because she has her orthodontist appointment this week and she wants her rubber bands to match her shirt (NO idea where she gets her fashion sense ). I will look for a new blouse. THANKS!

Find a really different look in the blouse and wear your hair differently. Different shoes too. My BIL does hiring within a HR department in a formal corporate environment and according to him they actually look for someone who can change their look AND is interesting too. I told him it was shallow; he told me it was reality.

Suit for sure! If you wear anything else, they may conceive as you getting too comfortable. First suit with a different top underneath, maybe a different handbag.

Wow, only women have this problem.

A guy would just put the same suit on, maybe even the same dress shirt and show up.

How unfair is life?

In my experience you can't beat the black leather mini-skirt, thigh high boots and a conservative top.

Are these classic colored suits? I have a black suit that I wear all the time but change up the shoes, blouse, and jewelry and it makes it look different.

As long as suit 1 is a classic color, adding a different top and jewelry with it will be fine. Doubtful the interviewer will notice if you're wearing a black suit again.

I agree with the other posters. Wear your first suit with a different shirt and different shoes.

I am sure the streach marks from our twins would be VERY impressive

The first suit is black. I wore a green blouse under it for the initial interview. The second interview was in a dark suit as well, it had a pattern in the weave of the suit and was cut differently.

I found a red twin set that I can wear with a skirt or nice dress pants later on so I will wear the red shell under the black suit. I can't do much about my hair as it is short and curly. I will wear different jewelry as well. Thanks for the help.

Wer the first suit but change it up with different jewelry and blouse. I had 3 interviews last summer and did just that.
